Arcadia has been a sure thing for years. A tiny refuge in the heart of the Delta, surrounded by nature that—to borrow Saba's words for Trieste—has a "surly grace."
The catch is of the highest quality; the pink oysters are unmissable, as are the soft-shell crabs when in season, and the astonishing fried food. In fact, everything is top-notch, so it all comes down to personal taste.
See you again in February because letting too much time pass is a crime.

I've stayed twice for photography trips. The owner is very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and well-kept, even with a tea kettle and a small fridge.

Absolutely fantastic! We booked the Osteria Arcadia for 11 nights as a base for excursions and tours in the delta.
The room (a studio with kitchenette on the first floor, garden view) was really spacious and looked newly renovated. The bed was relatively soft; I have a firm mattress at home, but I still slept excellently. The mattress seemed very high-quality to me, as it offered good stability despite its softness. The bathroom was also *very* large, with a bathtub/shower combination, and really spotlessly clean and hygienic. The kitchenette was one of the reasons for booking, because for longer stays, it's good to be able to store things in the fridge and prepare smaller meals "at home." The kitchen has everything you need: cutlery, dishes, cooking utensils, hotplates, and a microwave (no oven).
Breakfast was excellent, with a very wide selection of cakes and pastries. There was also toast, jams, local honey, ham, cheese, cereal, fruit, juices, and water. Even after having breakfast there eleven times, we still enjoyed going there, and it didn't get boring after a while, as sometimes happens in hotels.
The complex, and especially the garden, is very well maintained. Free bicycles are provided. These aren't high-tech carbon bikes for the discerning traveler, but for "hotel bikes," they are really of very good quality and technically well-maintained. However, there's only one frame size, which is more suited to people around 1.70 m tall. As a 1.80 m tall man, the bike was a bit undersized. But the longest ride of 20 km we did was still manageable. However, I wouldn't have wanted to ride the bike much further due to the small frame size.
Thanks to its location directly on the Ponte dei Barche, you can easily reach all corners of the delta from Osteria Arcadia. It's a spacious and relatively "empty" area, so the rides are always long, no matter where you stay. But this peace and nature is precisely the reason why people travel to the delta.
All in all, we were very satisfied. If we ever travel to the Po Delta again, we will definitely camp here again.

A top-quality seafood lunch. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent cuisine in a typical Bassopolesano setting. We had a wonderful time and ate refined, tasty, and generous dishes, prepared with excellent fresh fish. Highly recommended.

A small but delicious restaurant! Superbly organized, the boat trip was beautiful, albeit simple, with Mr. Diego and expertly guided by Mrs. Pamela, both with the reservation and at the table. Authentic flavors, plenty of choice, and high-quality food. I recommend booking!

Grazie
