Osteria Angelino dal 1899 was the very first restaurant we visited after landing in Rome—and it set the bar incredibly high. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was warm, and friendly. We shared a bottle of wine, ordered the meatball appetizer, carbonara, cacio e pepe, and tiramisu for dessert. Every dish was absolutely delicious—authentic, perfectly cooked, and full of rich flavor. As a lovely surprise, the staff even brought out a complimentary appetizer for us to try, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. The atmosphere felt both relaxed and full of character—exactly what you'd hope for on your first day in Rome. This place made us feel right at home in a new city. A true 10/10 experience, and a meal we’ll remember for a long time.

Visited on Sunday around 1pm. The store was empty. Ordered puttanesca, carbonara, and tripe. The tripe was delicious and came out quickly. I'm happy because it's one of the dishes I wanted to try in Rome. . The tripe came out quickly, but the pasta took 30 minutes. Maybe it was a system where the tripe was served after you finished eating it? ?

Welcomed into a beautiful venue with warmth and friendliness, we enjoyed typical Roman dishes from amatriciana, to cacio e pepe and brigia. The artichoke is better than a steak. Recommended place every time you go to Rome.

Posizione ottima accanto al Colosseo, location pulita ed accogliente. Mi aspettavo forse un qualcosa in più ma nel complesso era tutto buono. Accoglienza? Meravigliosa!

On a not very busy street it allowed us to get away from the hustle and bustle and eat on the terrace. The pasta was very good, the meat was cooked to the point we ordered, but the portion of cod was very small. The correct service. In short, we ate well but the price was somewhat high.

In attesa di una visita al Colosseo ho cercato un locale tipico nei paraggi e visto il punteggio ho prenotato. Il locale era praticamente vuoto con pochissimi tavoli occupati. Ho chiesto un servizio in poco tempo e su questo sono stato accontentato. Sulla qualità mi aspettavo decisamente di più, e sui salti in bocca alla romana che ho ordinato il giudizio è negativo, oltre a sembrare uno spezzatino, avevano un sapore acido e li ho lasciati. Dovevo stare più attento alle ultime recensioni che in molti casi erano negative.
