Magnificent food and service. In an area full of tourist restaurants, Osteria Angelino is the authentic Roman option.

Osteria Angelino dal 1899 was the very first restaurant we visited after landing in Rome—and it set the bar incredibly high. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was warm, and friendly. We shared a bottle of wine, ordered the meatball appetizer, carbonara, cacio e pepe, and tiramisu for dessert. Every dish was absolutely delicious—authentic, perfectly cooked, and full of rich flavor. As a lovely surprise, the staff even brought out a complimentary appetizer for us to try, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. The atmosphere felt both relaxed and full of character—exactly what you'd hope for on your first day in Rome. This place made us feel right at home in a new city. A true 10/10 experience, and a meal we’ll remember for a long time.

Visited on Sunday around 1pm. The store was empty. Ordered puttanesca, carbonara, and tripe. The tripe was delicious and came out quickly. I'm happy because it's one of the dishes I wanted to try in Rome. . The tripe came out quickly, but the pasta took 30 minutes. Maybe it was a system where the tripe was served after you finished eating it? ?

Welcomed into a beautiful venue with warmth and friendliness, we enjoyed typical Roman dishes from amatriciana, to cacio e pepe and brigia. The artichoke is better than a steak. Recommended place every time you go to Rome.

Posizione ottima accanto al Colosseo, location pulita ed accogliente. Mi aspettavo forse un qualcosa in più ma nel complesso era tutto buono. Accoglienza? Meravigliosa!

On a not very busy street it allowed us to get away from the hustle and bustle and eat on the terrace. The pasta was very good, the meat was cooked to the point we ordered, but the portion of cod was very small. The correct service. In short, we ate well but the price was somewhat high.

Everything was perfect! The service was very nice and warm. The food, again, how can you describe it, wonderful! We would love to come back in the future!

nothing exceptional about the food, fair prices for being 2 minutes from the Colosseum.

Fabuloso restaurante italiano con platos auténticos. Bien merecido 5 * para un buen servicio y deliciosa comida. Hermosa pasta al dente con sabroso ragu. Precios razonables.
