Abbiamo scelto questo posto in base alle recensioni e non ci deluso... Alberto ci ha consigliato il meglio per le NS esigenze... Siamo sempre alla ricerca di prodotti e piatti del territorio... E questo li rispecchia tutti... Lo consiglio vivamente e sicuramente ci torneremo al prossimo viaggio!

We discovered this tavern by chance, because we chose, for a short holiday in Padua, a good b&b on the outskirts and this tavern had good reviews.... All confirmed: meat dishes (sliced meat, fillet, tartare, all tried - for two - and all excellent), but also some bigoli with delicious duck sauce and a truly excellent sbrisolona. The choice of wines is also good, even by the glass, and the service is kind and attentive, in a clean and welcoming environment. Cost less than expected. Even if you are in the center of Padua, I recommend taking the tram towards Guizza or bus 22: in fifteen minutes or so you can really have an excellent meal in a quiet place

Experience of the senses. Excellent quality meat, we opted for a classic tartare and hamburger cooked to perfection with caramelized onion and Gorgonzola. Freshly baked fragrant bread that pairs perfectly with the harmony of very homemade dishes but full of passion for cooking and beyond. The table service is one of the best I've ever seen, I even managed to take home a half bottle of red wine ordered at the table. Shadow of the pine, unfortunately means the health of Pino, the poor canine "PINO" who passed away. Tonight we can say that we drank at Pino's good spirit and that we were truly up to par with a high-class restaurant with a deserved quality-price ratio.

Ristorante nella norma, ottima la scelta dei primi con diversi bigoi che cambiano in base alla stagione. Sui secondo il ristori a si dice specializzato in tagliate, infatti nel menù ce ne sono diverse. Trovo però abbastanza spropositato il prezzo di queste in relazione alle quantità essendo che la tagliata viene servita tagliata molto sottili, non penso che superino nemmeno 250/300 grammi. Stessa cosa per il sotto filetto di manzo: 25€ per sotto filetto da 200g in tutto con un contorno di patate al forno mi senta abbastanza eccessivo in questo caso. Ultima pecca: la mania di servire pane non caldo, ma bollente!! e per di più aspettare 10m dopo la richiesta mi sembra un po’ eccessivo.

Very nice tavern and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very, very kind, except for a few bad remarks, perhaps said in good faith, by the waiter who brought the wine. The selection of cured meats was okay and the cheeses were excellent for the starter. The meat cooked well and a very good tiramisu.

The tavern can be easily reached by public transport from Prato della Valle and this is a point in its favour.
The place and the staff were very welcoming and attentive to our needs. We chose to eat a typical first course: bigoli with duck ragù; it pleasantly surprised us. For the second course we chose sliced beef, another strong dish of the tavern. Quality food!
We appreciated the tranquility and the right space between one table and another to create a non-chaotic and orderly environment.
We'll be back!

Excellent dishes, obviously the meat is worth it, both cooked and tartare. Good wine selection. Excellent service - I don't like invasive waiters and here they were discreet, perfect. Quiet environment, the large walls filter the traffic outside. Clean bathroom. Fair price, nothing to report.
A nice discovery, I'll be back.
