Discovered by chance, but I'd say delicious! And no, I'm not talking about Molise (even though we now have proof of its existence 😂). Jokes aside, this trattoria is delicious. Highly recommended!!!

Found it by chance while wandering around Isernia. A welcoming, rustic-chic atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and superb food! The entire fish menu is available only on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Kindness and hospitality, dishes prepared to perfection and with local products, caciocavallo that should have been served to a king, gnocchi alla molisana that will leave you breathless with the goodness and service, the nobility of the people who have not lost common sense, I highly recommend you visit and taste their delights.

Villaggio Rurale Le Sette Querce

12/10/2025: Not the easiest to get to, but well signposted. Beautiful and well-kept place. We've only tried the restaurant; the dishes are typical but with fairly ordinary flavors.
07/10/2025: We went to eat. It was a very beautiful place, but we couldn't enjoy it because it was cloudy and raining. The food was delicious, the only downside was the slowness of the service. There were a lot of customers, only three waiters. When we arrived, they didn't even pay attention to us. After a while, we had to ask if they'd forgotten about us. They brought us a menu that said it was a one-and-done lunch. It was disappointing. But it was good.

24/09/2025: Great experience! We stayed and had dinner only one night, and everything was perfect! For dinner, we enjoyed several dishes made with local products, all tasty and plentiful. Recommended
10/09/2025: Not knowing the area well, we called to ask if we could have lunch and, given that it was almost closing time, the owner hosted us anyway... so in addition to the excellent lunch, we were welcomed very warmly... Annalisa and Massimiliano from Padua
