Hidden gem in the hills of Chianti not to far from San Donato we came across this wonderful spot that if you weren’t paying attention you would pass right on by. We discovered it 8-9 years ago and we’ve been returning ever since, sometimes twice in a trip. Amazing view and a wonderful outdoor covered patio. This was the first place where I ordered Porcini mushrooms and the waiter brought out a platter of uncooked ones for me to pick from. Absolutely delicious as all of their dishes are. I especially like the pappardelle with the wild boar ragu. Be sure to try a bottle of the local Chianti - our favorite is the Quercia Al Poggio,

My wife booked a wine tasting here for her birthday while we were visiting from the US. Wonderful experience, friendly & accommodating staff, great food and wine. Our presenter was knowledgeable and courteous to our MANY questions. We'd highly recommend visiting here.

Beautiful place, we had lunch there on August 15th. The Tuscan platter was truly excellent, along with delicate first courses, all accompanied by an excellent Chianti. Everyone was very kind...

Muy buen servicio como se señala en una gran cantidad de comentarios y una hermosa vista. La comida es buena como IT suele ser en Italia, pero en términos relativos hay algunas fallas con este lugar en comparación con otros. No vi mucha evidencia de cocina creativa, es decir, la burrata de mi esposa obviamente se compró y se sirvió en una cama de verduras encurtidas muy probablemente de un frasco: su plato de pasta se sirvió en una salsa de tomate de especias muy básica. Todo muy agradable, pero la burrata era de 14 € y la pasta de 16 €, lo que me lleva al segundo punto - este es relativamente hablando un lugar caro sin mucha evidencia de ninguna creatividad real para justificar los precios. El filete florentino es de 70 kg € que tendrá dificultades para pagar más en esta zona. Dicho todo esto, IT fue un almuerzo agradable con un servicio muy atento en un entorno precioso. Normalmente IT conseguiría 4 estrellas pero, de nuevo relativamente hablando, habrá mejor comida servida a un precio más razonable en otro lugar.

23/02/2026: We visited this restaurant with a small child, and they were very kind to us. The menu isn't extensive, except for pizzas, probably because it's low season, but everything is excellent and of high quality. The owner is extremely friendly.
01/02/2026: Rarely have I encountered such culinary excellence, capable of combining impeccable formal elegance with first-rate gastronomic substance. My experience at this restaurant was a revelation. I'd first like to praise the service: I found the waiters to be kind and attentive, a rare courtesy that prepares the mind for the pleasure of dining. The cuisine, then, is a triumph. We tasted superb fresh pasta: the Cacio e Pepe was a sensory experience, capable of transporting the palate elsewhere with its intensity. But the real surprise, almost shocking in its perfection, was the gluten-free menu. My partner requires gluten-free cuisine, and when I tasted her pizza, I was incredulous: the fragrance and flavor were absolutely indistinguishable from the traditional version, if not even superior. Without fear of contradiction, I can confidently say that this is the best restaurant in Siena. Congratulations, you are unquestionably number one.

03/12/2025: Beautiful B&B! The location is simply perfect, in the heart of the city and close to everything. The rooftop terrace is incredible, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The rooms are tastefully decorated and truly welcoming. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, making you feel right at home. Without a doubt, the best place in town.
30/10/2025: Everything was wonderful, from the owner who welcomed us, actually waited until late, to the clean and spacious room, to the excellent and plentiful breakfast! What more could I say? Excellent location for exploring the city!
