We were lucky enough to find Osteria Castagner on a Sunday for lunch, but we arrived a little late, around 2 pm, and they kindly let us sit at the table. To my great surprise, the menu included homemade gnocchi and tagliatelle, grilled chicken, the beloved late-season Treviso radicchio, and other very interesting appetizers. The atmosphere is simple but clean and well-kept, the staff are professional, attentive, and kind, and the food is authentic and very good. We had a cream of leek soup and gnocchi with ragù, both excellent, and then two grilled chicken legs with grilled Treviso radicchio and beans with Tropea onion, all washed down with a good extra brut prosecco. The food was excellent, the portions were decidedly generous, and the wine was just right. The price was very fair. Recommended. Well done!

Typical Venetian osteria... Affordable workers' menu. Simple cuisine with seasonal products and local dishes. The grilled meats are delicious! Fast service and friendly staff.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent food in the Prosecco hills

I've been going there for years when I'm in the area for work. I've always had a good experience, especially the food. For a fixed-price menu, the quality is high. The radicchio lasagna was very good, and the main course was satisfying. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, perfect for a lunch break.
