Tavern with restaurant prices, the food is not bad but the chairs are made of straw and therefore extremely uncomfortable

We had dinner there by chance, we were passing through. The owner was very kind and super welcoming, even though the hour was a bit inconvenient and the kitchen was about to close. The food was extremely good and excellent value for money. I highly recommend it, and it's also worth noting that the location is super convenient, being on the way to the lake.

A delightful osteria! The service is excellent, with thoughtful touches like a welcome glass of wine and homemade cookies with coffee, which are rare these days. The cuisine truly represents Mantuan tradition, reminiscent of grandma's homemade flavors, and you can taste all the love Marisa pours into each dish. We will definitely be back, and we recommend this osteria to anyone in the area.

Mrs. Marisa and Sofia excellent hosts.. inimitable fried dumplings.. divine dinner with ravioli al monteveronese and asparagus, sublime panzanella and desserts.. what can I say... whoever tastes it comes back... and we will come back... because Osteria al Cantone is a name and a guarantee❤️❤️

Abbiamo cenato per caso in questo ristorante cercando su internet. Ci siamo trovati bene, il cibo buono. Le due signore molto cordiali e disponibili. Hanno fatto anche un menù personalizzato per mio fratello che domani correrà la maratona. Top

Motorcyclists... We stopped at this tavern after consulting Google Maps and I must say that we found a nice surprise with a welcoming place and a very kind and friendly owner. Exquisite food, all homemade. Special mention for the fried gnocco and tortelli

06/08/2025: Very nice and clean atmosphere, efficient service with a tablet at the table to place orders. Wide selection of dishes, all very well cooked. The menu can easily satisfy everyone's needs. Very satisfied. A positive experience, I will definitely be back.

24/08/2025: We didn't have a great meal for the price. The atmosphere was very nice, with large and spacious tables, not crowded, and average service, with very friendly waitresses. In my opinion, both for the quality of the food and the inconvenience of the location, the prices are above average. The outdoor area, which is not yet open to the public, is also beautiful and well-equipped. August 23, 2025 - We returned. The prices haven't gone down; the outdoor area was open. I have to comment on the quality of the food, which was still good this time, and the presentation of the dishes was very attentive. The beef tartare with truffles was excellent, and the crostini were very good. For starters, the pumpkin tortelli were very sweet, and the risotto was excellent. We didn't order any main courses.
09/06/2025: Beautiful restaurant, the rooms are very beautiful and cared for in every detail, outside there is a garden where children can play. Excellent fast and attentive service Very good food
