We stumbled upon it by chance, and it was a lovely surprise! Delicious, simple, and high-quality dishes, as well as generous portions. The ricotta and sour cherry tart was exceptional...the service was friendly!!! Highly recommended!!!!!

A blast from the past! The restaurant is rustic, as tradition dictates! Claudio is a WONDERFUL person, as well as being an excellent restaurateur; he keeps you company even during dinner! Needless to say, the food is excellent and the wine is superb! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Looking for an Italian restaurant for Italians, we found this one good, and like us, other tourists were satisfied. Friendly service, small and cozy atmosphere. Food prepared fresh, just like home-cooked meals.

Tropecé con esta joyita mientras buscaba cenar con mi novio. Era más tranquilo que los lugares más concurridos cercanos, así que estábamos un poco indecisos al principio, preguntándonos por qué éramos los únicos allí. Recommended dishes so far: carbonara, rigatoni with pajata, roast lamb with potatoes, oxtail stew, Giulia's artichoke, and even the French fries here are delicious. In short, a riot of traditional Roman flavors. Well done!

04/12/2025: Ate here at lunchtime- service was really friendly, I had Amatriciana which was delicious followed by pork chop and stir fried mustard, both wonderful. Service was really friendly too, I'd definitely visit again
03/12/2025: Essence of Classic & Traditional Roman Cuisine , the service is Top notch , and the home is reminiscent of a Home cooked meal Maybe the best Artichoke I’ve had yet .
