Osteria Ai Travi In Pordenone

Beautiful tavern with varied and quality food; welcoming environment, nice tavern style appetizer. Excellent first courses and desserts. The only micro defects in my opinion: a little too much pause between starter and first course, and a little low temperature.

Living abroad, when we return to Italy, we always look for new places to try. Today we had lunch here and I must say that it was an excellent discovery. Excellent food, delicious wine and the price/quality is perfect. The facility is very well looked after and welcoming. Furthermore, the staff was very welcoming and kind, especially the innkeeper. We will have to return every time we return to Italy. The gnocchi with duck ragù and the frico and polenta, absolutely worth trying.

Tried it for a dinner with friends. I absolutely remember to BOOK. Ai Travi is a historic place, as is Rocco, the innkeeper. The menu is oral but there are some dishes that remain a guarantee. Upon suggestion, we ordered a mixed starter to share + a frico, perfect doses for 6 people. We also ordered a quarter of sparkling wine and a liter of house red wine, plus bottles of water and 2 glasses of prosecco. Each then ordered a dish: cjarsons, gnocchi with duck ragù, taleggio and pumpkin risotto and goulash with peperonata. We had 2 desserts and 5 coffees for a total of €171. I recommend it.

Arriving on a Saturday at the end of lunch time and above all the place was packed, he still treated us kindly and refreshed us with appetizers. Well done!!

The innkeeper is a great character Excellent food and very good service
