Excellent first courses and fried foods, average pizza.

Excellent Roman cuisine. Generous portions, plenty of choice, and good service. The appetizer was excellent; tripe and beans with pork rind were delicious. The more classic first courses were very good. Personally, I wouldn't try the seasonal first courses again; some simply aren't very flavorful, while others are absolutely delicious. The pizza and calzones have an excellent, fairly light dough. The calzones in particular have a good amount of filling. The fried foods are high-quality, and the Roman-style appetizer is excellent; it tastes exactly as advertised. The best is definitely the gricia version. The fried cod and zucchini flowers are also very flavorful and have a good filling. The fried artichokes are perfect. Recommended

We went there twice during our trip in Roma. The waiters were really kind and joyful. We had pizza margharita and the second time pasta al carbonara and both were delicious and far to be expensive ! The restaurant is beautiful with pictures of italian movies, the music is not loud so you can talk easily ! It’s better if you book before going because many italians love to go there. It was a really good experience and we plan to go back there next time in Roma !

The welcome was warm, the food was delicious, and I'd gladly return if I ever come to Rome again. I recommend it to anyone who loves traditional cuisine and a traditional atmosphere.

Honestly, incredible. We loved it. It was my partner's birthday, and although we weren't looking for anything special, it was delicious. We ordered the tortiglioni and the gnocchi alla sorrentina. We ended up switching because we liked what the other one ordered better, but both were very tasty. We also ordered a pizza, which, while not amazing, was quite good. For dessert, the tiramisu was delicious, and according to my partner, the best he's ever had. When we return to Rome, we'll definitely be back.
