I discovered this Osteria by chance, one evening while passing through Udine for work. Beautiful setting, furnished with care and taste. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Fast service. The dishes? Excellent, well-prepared, and substantial.

we went on tuesday for lunch and we took the menu of the day (carbonara). we have never tasted better carbonara. excellent food and even better service (thanks especially to the tall and dark-haired girl). high quality place also for the atmosphere and we will definitely be back. thank you!!! 🍝❤️

The pasta was really good, the dishes were plentiful and the prices were reasonable. I recommend it to anyone who happens to be passing through Udine.

And to finish off a tasty dinner, a small glass of black grappa, excellent I would say.

A very pleasant dinner featuring Tuscan cuisine We had dinner at Osteria Toscano in Udine and were completely satisfied. The food was excellent from start to finish: well-prepared dishes, authentic flavors and quality ingredients. The wine also exceeded expectations, perfectly accompanying each course. The portions were balanced: neither too abundant nor too scarce, just right to enjoy each dish without feeling weighed down. The only small note to report concerns the service: there were some slight oversights by the staff, nothing serious, but which could be improved with a little more attention. That said, the staff was still very kind, friendly and prepared, helping to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The environment is truly beautiful and welcoming, with attention to detail and perfect for a quiet evening in good company. In short, an excellent experience that I recommend without hesitation. We will definitely be back!

Osteria al Toscano is a little gem that is truly worth discovering. The place is intimate, tastefully decorated and has a warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The staff was welcoming and kind from the first moment. Even the small details made the difference, such as the bread served hot, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The menu is a journey through the authentic flavors of Tuscany. We started with a delicious tartare: simple, well-balanced and without unnecessary frills, to be seasoned as desired. The pici al cacio e pepe were a real surprise, creamy and tasty just right. The tagliata was tender and tasty, but the dish that really impressed us was the steak in Chianti sauce. The side dishes were also very good, such as the cannellini beans and potatoes. We left fully satisfied, both for the quality of the food and the service. The bill was also more than honest, absolutely in line with the experience we had. We will definitely be back!

One of my favorite restaurants in Udine. Delicious meat (I recommend the tartare), fast and friendly staff, excellent choice of Tuscan wines.

Dinner with friends, mixed appetizers of cold cuts and cheeses plus first courses.. then desserts, coffee and milkshakes All good with correct price.
