One of Salerno's historic restaurants, an excellent family-run business that continues a tradition. It offers typical and tasty dishes, attentive and friendly service, and excellent value for money. Finding dried fruit, such as walnuts, figs, and even sorbets, is not a given and deserves a special mention.

We arrived starving and lost just looking for pizzeria. We poked our heads in to find an elegant dining room complete with a piano and organ. They were closed for the typical Italian lunch break, but the owner all but forced us to come in and take seat. He and his wife are the chefs and their son works the floor and they came up with freshly prepared pasta dishes made all from scratch. The wife came out to brag on her hand made noodles and gnocchi and boy way is delicious. The son gave great company while waited for our meals. The place instantly became our favorite restaurant!

This is an amazingly welcoming restaurant. Not only that the food is very good, it’s genuine, cooked with love. Family owned, father Giuseppe is the chef and son suggests and serves. We had such a good time and felt like family at home. Giuseppe even entertained us with a few song. Will never forget this wonderful experience.

You'd love to eat there every day: a restaurant the way you'd want to experience Italy. A place of hospitality where you feel welcome from the very first minute. The food is authentic, fresh, homemade, and typically Italian. The innkeeper and his son are an experience of hospitality and warmth. We didn't quite believe the previous reviews, but we were so pleasantly surprised. We wanted fish and followed the chef's recommendations. We were delighted. The pasta is homemade, and the olives and oil come from the chef's own vineyards. Late in the evening, the chef takes to the keys and reveals his second passion, music, singing with fervor. Here you experience not only good food, but personality and charm.

After 2 weeks of travelling we fell upon this gem of a restaurant. A small family run restaurant and the food is absolutely the best. I highly recommended you try this restaurant before you leave the area.

Almorcé en Scuorzo hoy y pedí la calamarata... ¡fácilmente la mejor pasta mixta de mariscos que he probado! Los sabores del tomate, perejil y marisco fresco estaban perfectamente equilibrados y eran absolutamente inolvidables. Fue tan bueno, que pedí el mismo plato de nuevo para llevar conmigo para mi vuelo más tarde! El propietario y su hijo eran increíblemente cálido y acogedor, verdadera hospitalidad italiana que hizo la experiencia aún mejor. El restaurante tiene aire acondicionado y acogedor, con la ventaja añadida de aparcamiento justo fuera, lo que hizo que las cosas fueran súper convenientes. Muy, muy recomendable!

Una vera perla! Una serata che difficilmente dimenticheremo!
Siamo stati accolti con calore e gentilezza dai padroni di casa, che oggi è sempre più rara da trovare e che fin da subito ci hanno fatto sentire a nostro agio, come fossimo ospiti a casa loro.
Il cibo è stato semplicemente eccellente: ingredienti freschissimi, piatti preparati con amore e tradizione. La pepata di cozze era perfetta, saporita ma delicata, la caprese con mozzarella di una qualità rara, e la pizza leggera, gustosa e ben cotta. Ogni dettaglio, dall’antipasto al caffè, parlava di cura e passione.
Ma la cosa che ci ha colpiti di più è stato il momento musicale regalato dal padrone di casa Giuseppe Rosolia, che ci ha dedicato alcune canzoni cantate da lui, con tanto cuore e talento. Un gesto che ha reso la serata ancora più speciale.
Grazie di cuore per l’ospitalità, l’autenticità e il calore che ci avete trasmesso. Torneremo con molto piacere e consigliamo questo posto a chiunque cerchi un’ottima cucina e un’atmosfera vera, fatta di persone che amano davvero quello che fanno.
