I had the pleasure of visiting Origano Cibo e Vino as part of an Ormina small group tour, and it was nothing short of excellent. The moment you step inside, you're enveloped by a feeling of being part of Italy’s culture—the decor exudes old-world Italian charm that instantly sets the tone for a great meal. The food was simply delicious, offering authentic flavours that felt thoughtfully crafted. From the rich pasta to the perfectly prepared mains, each dish was a testament to the quality of ingredients and the care in preparation. The service was equally delightful, with a staff that made you feel welcomed and at ease. They brought a level of warmth that enhanced the entire dining experience. Origano Cibo e Vino isn’t just a meal, it’s a cultural experience. A great day out for anyone looking to savour the true essence of Italian hospitality and cuisine.

Oregano, and the Menhir Cellars, are a truly special place. The welcome is unique, the waiters are trained and will be able to recommend the best wine to pair based on your tastes and the food you choose. I also recommend making a truly interesting visit to the vineyards! Simone is very good and super prepared.

We arrived at peak time just for unannounced tasting. The young lady, although in difficulty due to the time, found us a place and made us taste the wonderful primitivi and negramaro. Top wines, super treatment. Highly recommended!

Ate in the garden. What an attractive location! We had a 4 course dinner with matching wines. The dishes were very tasty and the wines matched the dishes perfectly. An explanation was given about each wine. We were on holiday in Puglia for 2 weeks and had the best meal here.

It is not the first time that my husband and I have dined in Minervino at Origano Cibo e Vino. The atmosphere is intimate, intimate, elegant, refined and warm. The garden is delightful. The staff was very present and prepared. We had a good time. One of the two first courses we ordered was perfect and particular in its combinations. The truly unique dessert with rosemary ice cream. I can't give the food five stars, however, due to the excessively burnt 'Pasta scarfata' dish on the crust. We are from Salento and we love this dish, but as we pointed out to the waitress and subsequently to the lady at the checkout, burnt black cannot be in any recipe or in any cooking manual, as it is simply carcinogenic. I made the mistake of not sending the dish back immediately, my husband ate it in my place and gave me his first one. I would have been pleased if, after having pointed out the discomfort of eating burnt pasta, a courtesy had been shown to us. It would also be nice, when paying the bill, to receive a breakdown of how much was consumed.

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend, I must say that the location is truly beautiful, especially the large outdoor courtyard where we had dinner. Scrupulous but never too formal service, very high quality food. Special mention for the pasta with fig cream and the hazelnut and rosemary dessert!

Usually when we are on holiday, we never go back to the same place twice so as to always try new experiences. In this case, however, an encore was a must: a fabulous food and wine experience, high quality dishes and wine accompanied by impeccable service with highly trained and kind staff. Absolutely recommended!!!
