Excellent! The restaurant was almost closing, but even so, sisters Sonia and Mima made an effort to serve us, and it was a wonderful surprise: lasagna with homemade pasta was amazing! A cozy, homey place with great service. They don't speak English, but they will make you feel right at home. I recommend it 100%. Grazie mille, Sonia e Mima

29/07/2025: Family lunch at this beautiful farmhouse. The greenery surrounding you touches your soul. Excellent appetizers, and delicious first courses. The pork main course was exquisite. The only flaw was the less than professional service.
08/07/2025: We called with friends to book a table and asked for clarification on some negative reviews, but over the phone they made us understand that they were just mistakes. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a beautiful location with lots of greenery surrounding the restaurant. We visited their farm with its animals. Afterwards, we sat down in the dining room to order and discovered that the reviews were true. We asked for grilled meat, which wasn't possible, but it was cooked on a griddle. We gave up. The rest of the food was excellent, but in our humble opinion, the bill wasn't in line with what we ate. Everything else was perfect.

From the moment we arrived, the service stood out — the two gentlemen who looked after us were exceptional. Warm, attentive, and sincerely kind, they created an atmosphere that felt both relaxed and special. We shared the fried mixed seafood, and it was outstanding — perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and flavorful inside, capturing the essence of the sea. The lasagne was equally memorable — rich, comforting, and clearly homemade with love. You could taste the pride and tradition in every bite. La Forgia feels like a place where food, people, and passion come together effortlessly. Thank you for making our evening so memorable — we’ll carry this experience with us long after we’ve left Tropea. Highly recommended.
