Great find in Genova we came across when looking for a quick lunch: Really good food (we had a fish and a pasta dish with contorni), good service, fast (we were in a hurry) and an unbeatable price! We’ll be back.

Open Gate is a bar and restaurant superbly run by Nino (Antonino) and his wife. Excellent coffee, cappuccino, and brioche, all at reasonable prices. The food is also excellent at lunch and aperitivo. I highly recommend it!

A family-friendly atmosphere, able to put you at ease with its friendliness and simplicity. It's like dining with family: generous and tasty dishes. Very quick service between courses, always with extreme kindness and a convivial atmosphere. We will definitely be back!!!

24/09/2025: A lucky stop and we found this excellent pizzeria that also serves food. The pizza crust is exceptional and melts in your mouth. The fried foods are all tasty and dry, served on the typical Genoese menu. The service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. We'll definitely be back, but we'll take a bit longer. Highly recommended!!

28/10/2025: Very good ice creams. The owner said she speaks only a little English, but there was no problem understanding each other. She was very nice and let us taste couple of flavours before choosing.

The quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite: delicate, soft, and fragrant cream, light sponge cake, elegant decoration with attention to detail. You can see the passion and expertise behind every creation. Highly recommended for those seeking flavor, quality, and an authentic artisanal touch. We'll definitely be back!
