If you intend to dine at the Osteria dell'Olio Grosso I advise you to get started well in advance. In fact they have the bad habit of always being full even a week or two early. The explanation is simple; the place, even if outdoors, does not have many tables and therefore…. Once you reach the tavern, however, you will be rewarded by the beauty of the place. At the top of Borgo Parasio; in the corner at the end of via Parasio you can enjoy the view of the village and the large tree-lined area. Even on hot summer evenings the climate and temperature are extremely pleasant and guarantee a wonderful evening. The tavern works on two shifts therefore: if you choose the first shift at 8.00 pm you will have much more choice on the menu, while if you choose the second shift at 9.30 pm, you will have the opportunity to finish dinner in peace and enjoy the breeze of the evening and the magic of the place. Unfortunately, every choice has its price to pay. Having chosen the second round, in fact, we were given a different appetizer from the one chosen (brandacujun finished by those who came before us) and a sea bream from the supermarket as the catch of the day. Both the replacement starter and the sea bream were cooked well without defects but, frankly, the expectations were different. Ultimately: five-star location, mediocre service (slightly long waiting times, dishes served on the wrong side, hot wine), good cuisine, menu: I hope that the one available for the first round was in line with the images published on the site . All in all a good experience, spent a nice evening and ate well. Expectations remain disappointed

Come sempre non si smentisce, il nostro posto! Ogni anno tappa fissa qualità prezzo giusta.
Cucina a base si pesce cucinato in modo spettacolare. Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione, composto da 3 antipasti, 2 primi, 1 secondo e dessert con vino incluso della casa. Tanti assaggi uno più buono dell’altro.
Posto tranquillissimo, Stra consigliato!

We enjoyed the food.
But there is apparently a menu for “the tourists” and other dishes for “the locals”. Perhaps it is possible to offer offers to guests who do not speak Italian very well, e.g. B. to make it available in different languages via the homepage, as we have already experienced in other restaurants.

Quando una cena viene offerta, a Zena diciamo che non sa' di rame (metallo per gli spiccioli... per i foresti)
Ero appunto ospite di mia sorella Gio' e l'ho voluta portare in vetta al Parasio e quindi in questo simpatico frantoio, rivisitato a ristorante-trattoria.
Personale molto cordiale, nessun odore sui vestiti, nonostante lo show cooking con pescio, piatti pochi, ma buoni.
Che ve lo dico a fa' guardate le foto, please !!
