You almost get the impression that by coming in you're doing them a favor, but if you don't go, you're doing them two.

We don't frequent the area, but since we're just passing through, we wanted a casual place to eat with the girls. Excellent food, impeccable service, very friendly staff, and a gorgeous place—large, welcoming, and with a beautiful view.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the sea view does the rest! Highly recommended. The meat is excellent, strictly rare (obviously a matter of personal preference), but good. If I'm in Trieste for work, I often stop there for lunch.

We were a little less satisfied with this restaurant 🍽 than with other Old Wild West establishments. On our way back from the center of Trieste, we stopped here because the place had attracted us for its eye-catching exterior design (in any case, as mentioned above, we were already familiar with the chain). What annoyed us 😒 was the attitude of one of the two waiters 👨🏻‍🦱, hasty and pushy (he hardly gave us time to decide); at a certain point, among other things, he brought us the cutlery 🍴 almost "throwing" it at us... we were stunned 😳. The dishes turned out to be satisfying and tasty (my "Cow Burger" 🍔 with potatoes 🍟 was good 😋), but we had no doubts about this from the start. I also note the lack of paper in the bathroom 🚾 (both for drying hands 🤲🏻 and the so-called "hygienic" paper 🧻). I've since returned on two other occasions, once at lunchtime and once for dinner, and found the place better; the General Custer barbecue 🍖🍗🥩🥓 was a plus, as it turned out to be plentiful and well-cooked 👌. Parking spaces 🅿️🚘 along the road, which are also free 🆓️, are not lacking in themselves, but availability depends greatly on the season and time slots.
