We ate quite well, clean place. The service was a little slow, but otherwise recommended

It seemed better than others in the same chain, both in terms of environment and service. Only one criticism: with all the space (empty at lunch) that there is the policy of gathering more or less everyone in a few tables close together makes the place a bit cramped. Sin . Giving more space to move to those who bring pets into the room would also benefit other customers.

The food is good but it is cheap only with the menus, too bad they are not valid on Sundays. On Sundays they are quite expensive. Quiet place. You pay like a real restaurant. You can't go all the time because for two people the bill is demanding. You can do it once in a while. However, nothing special

I have been going to the Old Wild West in Piacenza occasionally since it opened its doors several years ago, and one detail has never changed over time: the long and unlikely waiting times, which paradoxically I have grown fond of out of habit. Unfortunately, Old as a chain is also very often synonymous with waiting. So I'm not surprised if, with home delivery, I waited even longer than normal to have lunch. Despite this, I was able to happily see, even with the dishes now cold, that the quality remains excellent, so the ingredients must be excellent too. What made me turn up my nose was the packaging, which was impractical for the dishes in question. In my opinion, when a restaurant decides to also have a delivery service, it must also try to ensure that the plating of the dishes is kept to a minimum, therefore not having them arrive as if a hurricane had passed through the bag. I don't spend more on service to get mushy dishes. Last note: the chocolate cake, once cooled, loses all its taste, and therefore also its value. The slices of cheesecake, on the other hand, are excellent, with the cream cheese breaking up perfectly with the sweet topping, which, however, could have been more present. Too bad for the nachos which, once they arrived, were already soggy, with melted cheese stuck to them as if it were clotted glue. Luckily they maintained the goodness anyway. In short, it is certainly better to consume it on the spot as it obviously is, but even at home it's not bad.
