Old Wild West In Assago

Absolutely fantastic! The Old Wild West in Assago Milanofiori deserves special praise not only for the excellent quality of the food, but especially for the exceptional service. The staff is so kind and helpful that it makes all the difference: always smiling, attentive, and ready to satisfy every request with professionalism. The dining experience was impeccable: the burgers and fries were super tasty and cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a pleasant atmosphere combined with top-notch service and delicious food, this is the place! Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff, the lady was fantastic and patient with my children.

It's not a true Old Wild West, even if it looks like one: same dishes, same menu with the sign clearly visible outside. In reality, you can't use your loyalty card or take advantage of the promotions or discount coupons available on the app. Furthermore, the beef salad I ordered was disappointing: the beef was overcooked and tough to chew.

First of all, I'd like to point out that the location on the map is wrong. It's not where the Virgin gym terrace is, where you can sunbathe, but on the opposite side of the meeting place, near Hamericas. However, the atmosphere is pleasant and very spacious, making it very quiet. I'm not giving it five stars because of the overall quality-price ratio. The lady who welcomed me today around noon was impeccable, welcoming, attentive, and professional (if I were the CEO, I'd let her manage the entire restaurant, perhaps even the kitchen). However, at these steakhouses (even those of other brands, like roadhouses or other franchises), I rarely leave completely satisfied. Which, of course, doesn't mean you can't eat there every now and then. I ordered a mixed grill menu for about €14, which included a soft drink, an additional beer for about €3, and a coffee for €1. However, you end up paying €2 for table service and another €2 for the cover charge, so you end up spending €22 (which is fine, but you also want to be completely satisfied, like leaving thinking, "Wow, what a delicious feast!"). However, as I said, it's fine; I also had a quiet lunch outside, smoking alone and with the cooling fan. The portion in the end was adequate, because I didn't leave feeling heavy, the bread was the best thing (like when you warm it up from frozen) luckily the waitress asked me if I wanted more because two slices wouldn't have been enough for me, I don't eat breadcrumbs but the crust cheered me up for the whole lunch, the bread was good quality, the meat nothing transcendental or excellent but decent, cooked however as requested, perhaps a little dry, but in any case you can remedy that with a little additional seasoning too, there were also lots of shavings of parmesan, always delicious thanks even if perhaps of a slightly industrial quality, even the baked potatoes and cherry tomatoes were nothing to complain about, but what made me go down a bit in my rating was the salad, not only because it was a little small in portion compared to the plate, maybe I would have put a couple more leaves, but more than anything because in some places it was dark, very dark, maybe it's the quality, in fact I didn't even ask and I ate it out of politeness and because anyway It was dry and not rotten, otherwise I would have complained. Instead, it didn't have that flavor, so it was edible, but where it was darker, it tasted completely unrefined, and overall, it didn't seem particularly fresh. Ultimately, I recommend it as a place; I wrote a detailed review just to give the cuisine an accurate impression of the customer's perception of the various aspects.

I am surprised by the many negative reviews of this place, because I have been there several times and have always had a great time. The food is good quality and reasonably priced, the staff seemed much more professional than other users claim and the environment is overall clean. Last observations: strangely, peanuts are not served a priori, and the Fidelity Card is not accepted.
