OishĪ Japanese Kitchen In Pescara

Very nice restaurant. Welcoming service. I tasted the 6 courses chosen by the chef. The first 3 very good (fish sashimi, mixed carpaccio and tartare) the other three quite disappointing (normal uramaki, gyoza and vegetable tempura). In my opinion the tastings should not fall into the obvious. All in all everything good, nice environment and precise service. If they want to improve as a restaurant, definitely see the tastings

Prepared and super friendly service, quality and refined raw materials... exceptional sashimi, even more fish ramen, even the gyoza were divine... prices above average, but then you pay for quality... Only flaw? Coffee at €3 and cover charge at €4, definitely too high.

Really excellent sushi in the center of Pescara. Super professional, friendly and kind staff in a private and customer-friendly environment. Not the classic you can it. The dishes are presented with a certain refinement and made with selected ingredients. Obviously given the quality the price is higher than average but it's worth a try.

Unfortunately the dinner did not live up to expectations. The place is certainly very elegant. The raw dishes were good, with one course in particular truly delicious (I attach photos), but the hot dishes disappointed: certainly not from Gambero Rosso. The vegetable gyoza were bland and a little dry. Even the choice to serve two tartares and no type of sashimi is unbalanced. The service started well, with the staff - very kind - taking our jackets and pouring us water, but it took a downward turn as the evening progressed. Furthermore, unfortunately, they were not sufficiently knowledgeable about the dishes or the tasting methods. The pairings must accompany the courses and the glasses must be served in conjunction with the dish chosen by the chef, to allow the combination to be better appreciated. Unfortunately, this care was lacking, penalizing the overall experience. Finally, the last course was imposed on us as dessert because "the chef decides that the tasting ends with dessert". Ok, but being a group we had chosen tastings with a different number of courses (previously communicated via email) and some received dessert, others not. In high-level places, it is good practice to specify what the tasting includes and, above all, not to impose courses without notice. It wasn't a totally negative experience, but for the price paid (high, higher than the average price of an excellent gastronomic tasting) one expected a much more refined experience that lived up to the name. Maybe in the future we will give it another chance, but for now we cannot recommend it with the same enthusiasm with which it was recommended to us.

Molto buoni gli spaghetti di riso. Tartare non all’altezza (è sempre la scelta delle materie prime a fare la differenza). Relativamente al sushi abbiamo deciso di assaggiare i nigiri e gli uramaki meno classici, proprio per cogliere appieno il carattere e la filosofia della cucina. La qualità del pesce è discreta, ci aspettavamo molto, molto di più..relativamente al gusto non abbiamo sentito il wow. Ci aspettavamo un’esperienza..abbiamo cenato. Più bello che indimenticabile..

Fantastic experience. Very nice place, private environment (we stayed on a midweek day). Sublime cuisine.

We had a large assortment of sushi to take away but we were generally disappointed... Very soft tempuras without the expected crispiness. The cooked salmon had a very strong smell Certainly better there but I don't recommend taking it away.

A mio parere il sushi/fusion migliore della città! Quando lo chef vede del terreno fertile per assaggi particolari, ti coccola con delle chicche culinarie deliziose. Non è la ia prima visita e non sarà l'ultima.

Intimate and super comfortable place. Very kind and highly trained staff. The dishes are a culinary experience. We are regular customers and we are surprised every time. Best restaurant in Pescara and surrounding areas. Super recommended!

A fantastic experience! Fresh and delicious sushi, with impeccably presented dishes. Cozy atmosphere, attentive staff and excellent value for money. Highly recommended for lovers of Japanese cuisine!
