We went to Officina34 for lunch on Saturday and can only agree with the positive reviews. Highlights: Excellent Trofie al sapore di mare and Cappon Magro!
Very good white wine and professional advice on choosing the wine.

Well, I've found the place to go to eat every day for lunch. Abundant and well prepared dishes. Fast and friendly service, a nice environment. Convenient to downtown offices. Lia is special. The chef is a genius. Today carbonara, better than in Rome. What more could you want. oh the bill? more than fair.

The selection at this restaurant was interesting. I had duck breast, and I have to say I did enjoy it. My friends had pesto pasta which they loved (pesto seems to be a major thing in Genoa).
However, given the price of our meal, I didn’t feel full after it. In fact, most of us were hungry again after an hour or so. The pilsner was also not great; I think the draught beer quality could improve.
So despite the good food, I am not sure I would return as I like to feel fulfilled after a meal.
