A corner of Sicilian hospitality, especially Ragusa-style, in Genoa's historic center. Excellent ingredients and delicious dishes, respecting tradition. Highly recommended.

In the historic center of the Superba you find yourself warmed by another sun, that of Sicily, with a welcome and a friendliness with few equals. What can I say about the food.... All excellent and prepared with care and tradition and certainly of Ragusa origin, you can betray them for once, pesto-focaccia etc.etc. 🏴 🙂

Wandering through the small streets, we suddenly ran into this little restaurant, which was a real salvation after our not-so-good dinner. Unfortunately, we were full, so we only ate canello and drank a little dessert wine, but it was delicious, the service was very kind, the place is family-friendly, very cozy, I can recommend it, we will come back here again!

On a rainy day, lost among the alleyways of Genoa, I stumbled upon this trattoria, where a Moor's head dominates the entrance. I consider not going in because I want to eat typical Genoese food, but in the end I give up and go in... thank goodness for that!!
Fresh pasta, exquisite sauces (the almond pesto was a real treat! 🤩), good wine and dessert!! And the service? Impeccable!
Pesto meatballs with potatoes (highly recommended!), they were amazing!!
If I ever return to Genoa, I would definitely go back.
