If you go to Trieste, you can't miss Odio il brodo! It's a unique place, with very friendly staff and delicious chicken dishes. We loved it! ☺

Passing through Trieste on January 1st, we stopped for lunch, intrigued by the name. We really enjoyed the unusual but very welcome culinary combinations, a blend of Eastern and Italian cuisine. Kudos to the eggplant balls! All served by extremely friendly staff and chefs.

For guests at the table, I would prefer ceramic dishes instead of paper bowls!

Speaking of the menu – it's hard to read because it's handwritten (which is very personal ❤️) – but if you don't speak Italian or perfect English, it's difficult 😁

Excellent modern fusion cuisine specializing in chicken. At first glance, it might seem like fast food, but it's not. The dishes are very interesting. The menu is small, but new things are constantly being added. There's a good beer selection. You can often meet the chef/owner—a talented professional who loves his craft.

Overall, my experience was positive: the service was attentive, the restaurant was very well-maintained and in a wonderful location, and the sandwich, spicy mayo, and fries I ordered were excellent.
That said, I was disappointed that the menu and prices aren't updated on either the website or Google. These days, most customers choose a restaurant based on this information, and finding prices on-site that differ from those advertised online can be challenging and leave customers feeling disappointed. Updating menu photos or digital price lists requires minimal time, but it would make a real difference in terms of transparency and trust.

I ordered two chickens for takeout, and you can immediately tell how much the restaurant focuses on quality. The chicken was truly tasty and authentic, and the staff was extremely friendly. My compliments!
