Great hut. Highly recommended even if you're not hiking, as it's easily accessible by gondola. Beautiful views over the Adige Valley. Very friendly staff, good food (dinner and breakfast), and gluten-free options. Nice rooms too.

A must stop while in the area. Take the gondola up and enjoy some hiking then a cold beverage with a beautiful view. Staff is friendly and attentive.

It was a dream. There's nothing, absolutely nothing negative to report. The welcome was so warm, the ambiance and atmosphere were fantastic. Everything was clean and incredibly cozy. The food was plentiful and incredibly delicious – whether breakfast or dinner.

The food is still cooked with love here. Very tasty and friendly hosts. Worth a visit.

Very tasty buttermilk (with currant or apple juice) The Kaiserschmarrn and Caramelized Apple Pancakes were also very good.

We spent a week in the Oberhochmuthof's holiday apartment. The apartment is a good size and well-equipped. The food at the farm's tavern is highly recommended. The Pircher family is super friendly and always willing to listen and offer great tips. All in all, highly recommended.

We had lunch at the Bergasthof Oberhochmut again. A fantastic view, a wonderful family business, and a very friendly, natural hostess who knows her craft perfectly. (That's what a trained chef says.) No frills, generous portions, fresh food, and exquisite flavors; my grandmother couldn't have cooked it better. We had the lamb's liver and the roast lamb, simply divine. With that, a freshly tapped beer—that's heaven on earth in South Tyrol! We'll definitely be back! We'll never understand why the mainstream prefers the Gasthof Hochmuth en masse. But that's fine with us; we always get a dream spot.
