Breathtaking views in every direction. I've been coming here for many years and always enjoy the sunny afternoons on the magnificent panoramic terrace. The incredibly delicious food (the best schnitzel around) and the exceptional hospitality of the Pircher family are particularly noteworthy. You feel very welcome and comfortable here, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit! 😊

We visited the Picher family at the Oberhochmuthof for several days once again. As always, they were wonderful days, the food was excellent, and the cold Forst was a real treat! The convivial evenings with Irmgard and Adolf were simply wonderful! Thank you so much for the fantastic vacation, Heike, Pia, Marion, Christiane, Kai, Wolfgang, Jan, and Carsten! We'll definitely be back at the Oberhochmuthof in 2026.

Great hut. Highly recommended even if you're not hiking, as it's easily accessible by gondola. Beautiful views over the Adige Valley. Very friendly staff, good food (dinner and breakfast), and gluten-free options. Nice rooms too.

A must stop while in the area. Take the gondola up and enjoy some hiking then a cold beverage with a beautiful view. Staff is friendly and attentive.

It was a dream. There's nothing, absolutely nothing negative to report. The welcome was so warm, the ambiance and atmosphere were fantastic. Everything was clean and incredibly cozy. The food was plentiful and incredibly delicious – whether breakfast or dinner.

We spent a week in the Oberhochmuthof's holiday apartment. The apartment is a good size and well-equipped. The food at the farm's tavern is highly recommended. The Pircher family is super friendly and always willing to listen and offer great tips. All in all, highly recommended.

19/10/2025: Located in an extraordinarily beautiful, old, and picturesque castle with a magnificent view. Excellent food, highly recommended as a day trip destination. Within walking distance of St. Peter's Church and the beautiful hiking trail to Tirol Castle.

05/11/2025: A beautifully situated alpine pasture with breathtaking views! We've been coming here regularly for years, combining it with a lovely hike of about 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Rosskopf cable car mountain station to the pasture. A fantastic terrace where you can soak up the sun and lose track of time. Delicious South Tyrolean cuisine, especially shepherd's macaroni! The friendly service makes every visit a truly memorable one, leaving us eagerly anticipating our next trip!
19/10/2025: Super-friendly host family, the climb is definitely worth it! We'll be back!
