Ristorante Oberhauserhütte In Luson

At the source of the perfect hiking trails is the Oberhauser Refuge, where my wife, I, and Kimba, our Maremma Abruzzese dog, son of a shepherd, stayed for 11 full days, plus arrival and departure. It's an enchanting place, boasting attentive and attentive service from the owners, who were friendly, welcoming, and understanding when we encountered any difficulties in caring for our big dog. The facility has apartments on two floors, and we had a place on the ground floor, where our accommodations had a small garden just beyond the wooden platform that served as a balcony. The garden is private and enclosed by a sturdy fence. This is a real convenience, especially when you're caring for a one-year-old dog who already weighs 40 kg. The apartment was adequate in size and layout. The bathroom was spacious and very usable (I have wonderful memories of the shower, which had a generous flow of clean, mineral-like water). One very important thing is that the rooms were very well soundproofed, and even the rude footfalls of some upstairs residents were so quiet that they didn't disturb us. The cuisine was delicious, carefully prepared, and never boring, and was particularly notable for the lovely Saturday evenings dedicated to barbecues, which included not only the usual quality meats but also fish, including zander (if that's the correct spelling), which I particularly enjoyed. Around the building were beautiful hilly fields where we could take our big dog for mini-excursions before or after dinner or breakfast. It was a first-time vacation with our "big dog," who had scared us a bit, but thanks to the care and dedication of the managers, it has become a wonderful memory and an experience we can't wait to repeat. A wonderful place, very lovingly and modernly decorated. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, always offering tips for excursions. An absolute insider tip: the food!!!😋 I've rarely had such a delicious and unique meal.
