What a beautiful location in the Italian Alps. Very easy to reach via a short walk (10 minutes) on a flat road. The soup was delicious. The kitchen dates back to grandmother's time. The farmer's wife is also the kitchen princess. Ideal starting and finishing point for a brisk walk in the mountains. The goats and cows are always nearby.

A friendly service. The first sobering moment came with the buttermilk. Thin and significantly too expensive compared to other alpine pastures. The Kaiserschmarrn made up for everything >>> outstanding.

Stop for lunch. Good food, bring a skimpy one, usually for 12 euros any mountain hut offered us 3 dumplings in this one only 2 plus salad already seasoned with vinegar which made the flavor of the dumplings very acrid. Ask for caffe latte and they bring cappuccino. Prices a little high. Panorama is undoubtedly their strong point, sensational.

After a walk, we found this hut with authentic flavors and super tasty dishes. Excellent service and kindness. Attentive to everyone's needs. A mention for the kid (the meat is delicious and very soft, marinated and cooked to perfection) and the apricot dumpling.

We stopped there after the very worthwhile hike to Seebersee. The outside terrace offers a wonderful view. The spinach dumplings were very tasty, the buckwheat cake was pleasantly slightly sweet.

30/09/2024: Very nice young couple, the food Fritaten soup and a mint water were very tasty. Very helpful in all things. A wonderful sight when you see the huts of the high alpine just before e rreach. Great landscape all around. The hut is very cozy and rustic. How you imagine it to be in an Alpine pasture.
25/09/2024: My wife and I hiked here from Marebbe and were greeted with kind hospitality from the family who runs the hut. We had 3 different types of dumplings, Kaiserschmarrn, and hot coffee. I would highly recommend the hike here if you are in the area.

03/01/2025: Piacevole serata in questo locale. Abbiamo provato il tris tirolese, ottimo. Il locale curato, accogliente e caratteristico. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono, lo consiglio se siete in zona. Piccolo appunto, strada di montagna un po' impegnativa.
15/12/2024: Locale bello esteticamente, molto curato a Villandro. La specialità della casa è la pizza ed è molto buona, bassa ed è possibile anche averla con un impasto particolare con un mix di farine. Prendiamo 2 pizze, 1 piatto di mezzelune, 1 pinot bianco della cantina di S.Michele Appiano, 1 acqua, 2 insalate miste davvero gustose. Indirizzo super consigliato, anche per la possibilità di mangiare ad orari non tirolesi.
