Excellent pastries at fair prices. Excellent service!

We came over from Ötztal and stopped by this alpine hut. Wonderful atmosphere (it's a quiet time now), the owner is a dream (friendly, funny, and chatty), and the two employees are super nice. The food...amazing. The cranberry spritzer is amazing. The dumplings (in all variations) are excellent, whether in soup or as a main course or dessert. I think we'll visit this relaxing place sometime in the summer months. If the hosts need help with their daily tasks, just let us know :) It was a wonderful stay with YOU.

Cozy, friendly...just all around likeable!

We were there on a rainy day when almost no one was out on the hiking trails. Even though it was almost closing time, we were still given a very friendly and welcoming welcome. They cooked us a delicious meal and offered us a place to sit inside to relax. The view was fantastic despite the bad weather. Highly recommended.

I stopped by here on my way through and left feeling full and satisfied. The food and drinks were delicious and arrived on the table faster than I could blink.

Must visit! Came completely by accident, decided to have a coffee, stayed for lunch. Delicious food, got some translations via younger staff, and couldn’t be happier.

About 10 minutes by car from the pass, you can stretch your legs on the approximately ten-minute walk from the parking lot to the alpine pasture, followed by a good, inexpensive meal.

After a beautiful walk around the lake, we stopped for lunch. The view was spectacular, the food good, and the staff friendly. It's a shame they barely spoke Italian (I don't expect Florentine, but I'm pretty sure they spoke a little). The prices were slightly above average for the area. There are no menus; you read the dishes from a blackboard—two blackboards for the German menu, and one on the floor for the Italian menu. The wait for the food was reasonable; it wasn't the fastest, but it was understandable given the amount of work they do. On a positive note, there's a play area for the little ones (sandbox). The worst part was the payment: cash only, and no receipt to check for any additional costs, such as coffee or drinks, which weren't listed on the blackboards. I don't know if they were listed on the German blackboards.

A truly fantastic location. The work here is done with passion.

Very friendly and helpful staff, and the food was delicious. There's a fantastic view from the terrace. From the alpine pasture, you can take a lovely hike down into the valley.
