Excellent pastries at fair prices. Excellent service!

We came over from Ötztal and stopped by this alpine hut. Wonderful atmosphere (it's a quiet time now), the owner is a dream (friendly, funny, and chatty), and the two employees are super nice. The food...amazing. The cranberry spritzer is amazing. The dumplings (in all variations) are excellent, whether in soup or as a main course or dessert. I think we'll visit this relaxing place sometime in the summer months. If the hosts need help with their daily tasks, just let us know :) It was a wonderful stay with YOU.

Cozy, friendly...just all around likeable!

We were there on a rainy day when almost no one was out on the hiking trails. Even though it was almost closing time, we were still given a very friendly and welcoming welcome. They cooked us a delicious meal and offered us a place to sit inside to relax. The view was fantastic despite the bad weather. Highly recommended.

A wonderful place to relax and unwind. Great food and drinks, and excellent service. This was my sixth visit, and I was already very disappointed. The quality of the food has clearly declined. The broth in the fritatensuppe (a soup with chips) was watery, and the fried potatoes and hash browns weren't really cooked. We used to get a single cup of coffee, but now we get a single cup, and it's only half full! The elderflower spritzer is also thin; you had to search for the elderflower flavor. The same goes for the currant spritzer. I find that a real shame and sad, especially since, as a guest, you've told quite a few family members, friends, and acquaintances how wonderful it was at the Alm and how excellent the food is there. Of course, this isn't a 5-star restaurant, and of course, the dishes are relatively "simple." But you could feel and taste that someone in the kitchen is cooking with their heart. That feeling wasn't there today. I'll come back anyway and see how things have developed.....
