We caught it on the last day of the year. A very nice hut with a good selection. And if you want, you can even take home some homemade cheese.

It's a bit of a strenuous hike up there, but it's worth it. Great juices, drinks, cakes, and food. And all at a really great price. The owners are really nice and friendly. The trip is worth it!

... a stunningly scenic alpine pasture that boasts a large lake! We chose the steep yet somewhat strenuous climb from the Obersthöfe farms to descend via the Hahnenkamm and Pfitzschkopf, enjoying magnificent views of the Passeier Valley, including Merano and the mountains we're familiar with. The young Schaffler family and their helpers await you at the 2,160-meter-high alpine pasture. They serve delicious food and great drinks at reasonable prices. You can also watch the hustle and bustle of happy, free-roaming cows, goats, pigs, and chickens! The homemade alpine cheese, which is available in various varieties, is also highly recommended. We will definitely be back and say: Thank you so much! The Richter family 😎

A wonderful hike to the Obisell Alm, very friendly staff, and fast, excellent food. We highly recommend the dumplings with coleslaw and the roasted bacon and egg. The view of the lake is fantastic, and we'd love to come back.

21/09/2025: A wonderful stay at the Ansatz Steinbrück! The historic building is not only a true gem from the outside, but is also beautifully modernized and tastefully furnished inside. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and exude a pleasant, feel-good atmosphere. I would especially like to highlight the hostess, Elisabeth – incredibly warm, attentive, and always accommodating. You feel welcome and well looked after from the very first moment. A real highlight is the fine dining restaurant: The new, young head chef brings a breath of fresh air to the kitchen, and the creations blend perfectly with the elegant ambience of the hotel. The whole experience is rounded off by consistently professional and attentive service. In short: a place where history, modern comfort, warmth, and culinary excellence come together. Highly recommended – 5 stars!
