All their products are amazing! The cakes are delicious, not to mention their pizza and cheese focaccia: Recco is a far cry from anything else! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. For example, yesterday (Saturday), I called at a time when they should have already closed, and they waited for me for almost 30 minutes after closing time. Unique!

09/06/2026: The highlight of an exceptional day trip. I caught a traghetto from Camogli in the sparkling blue Ligurian Sea, dropping me off at the small dock next to the large sign reading "TRATTORIA." Calling ahead for a reservation, I was seated at a lovely table right at the water. The service was exceptional! Everyone friendly. The owner even introduced me to another table of people who shared my Italian mother's maiden name! The pesto was outstanding, as it should be in the Genoa region. The fish and roe main dish was worth celebrating. A tasty gelato dessert and the obligatory caffe. The meal was leisurely, all the time listening to the lapping of waves against the solid rocks. Having indulged in an amazing dinner, I decided to take the hike back to Camogli (a 1500 ft rise with countless steps) which went through several towns and amazing views, powered by a great meal beforehand!
