A truly distinctive atmosphere, housed in a beautiful historic building practically opposite Genoa's old port. There aren't a ton of dishes, just the right number to avoid getting lost and confused, but they're truly delicious and well-prepared. Their pesto is exceptional, and that's coming from someone who's always hated even the smell of it.

Siamo capitati per caso in questo bar/ristorante dopo una visita all’acquario ed è stata un’ottima scoperta. Cibo buono, servizio molto cordiale e veloce prezzo ONESTISSIMO! Abbiamo preso 2 primi, un insalata, una bibita, l’acqua e due caffè ed abbiamo pagato poco più di 20€. Per una sosta veloce se si è in zona porto antico è decisamente buono.

28/09/2025: We had lunch today, unfortunately we were a little skeptical given the less than perfect reviews, but instead, the dishes were delicious and the waitress was friendly...
21/09/2025: Maybe it's because I adore San Fruttuoso, and I had a wonderful experience staying at Da Giovanni many years ago, but this place is one of my favorites in Italy. As for accommodations, the rooms are perfectly suited to the setting, and the sense of peace you feel is inexplicable when all the day-trippers leave and you can rest with only the sound of the sea. As for the restaurant, I literally dream about their mandilli de sea (deconstructed lasagna) at night, and the rest of the menu is no exception. The prices are proportionate to the location, the staff is always friendly and helpful (at least in my case, it's always been that way), and honestly, it remains a super, hyper, extra, mega-recommended place.
