Back for the second time. I really appreciate this place for the choice to use short and direct supply chain products. Mostly Ligurian, including garlic (from Vessalico)! Organic meat It happens that things are missing from the menu because, by sourcing from small local companies that do not produce in industrial quantities, they quickly run out. They are very competent Even the wine list...many are very local and particular, then, to please everyone, there is no shortage of "foreign" ones. The same goes for beers. Yesterday I tasted an excellent Happy Strong Ale from the Busalla Brewery, so tasty that it seemed like an almond had been added to it! The desserts are homemade And the informal but classy environment. I really like it and a strong motivation to come back again and again is listening to the explanations of the very kind and knowledgeable owner who provides precious and detailed information on everything served! Thanks to him I discovered that IPA beer has the peculiarity of a high hop content which was used, thanks to its natural preservative properties, by the English for long ship journeys to satisfy the demand in India during Colonialism. The meat is very good, I prefer pure meat without contamination from various sauces. Even the vegetables are special! You can also choose to opt for an aperitif with tastings of cured meats, Ligurian cakes, etc.

There were 2 of us and we had a great time! The food is good and of good quality, the staff are friendly and know how to advise, I found the place very nice! In my opinion it will be even more beautiful in the summer because it has a spacious outdoor area. We chose the tasting menu (which includes 1 mixed platter of cheeses and cured meats, a trio of meats and a cut each), 2 desserts, a side dish and a drink, spending just over €50 each... But we left there with super full and satisfied bellies... They deserved them all!!! It was a pleasant surprise and we will certainly return, both alone and with friends and relatives, so as to let them know about it too! Compliments!

I chose this place for my partner's birthday and everything was simply perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by the choice to introduce many local products into the menu accompanied by an excellent wine list with (also in this case) particular attention to local producers. We took a trio of raw sausage, a Fassona steak with a black garlic emulsion from Vessalico, egg yolk and Castelbufalo flakes and then we took 2 Fassona steaks on San Ste' fondue. Very friendly and courteous staff. Correct and honest account.

The platter and grill are good, the wine is excellent. Service a little slow..

I went to this restaurant with friends, I don't think we will return as we didn't have a great time. The appetizers were really good, both the mixed platter of cold cuts and cheeses and the knife platters. A toast with mortadella, nothing special. As second courses we had a mixed grill, as a generous portion nothing to say but the meat was nothing special. I took a slice of limousine, overcooked as you can see from the photo (requested rare), very sad served as you see it (there would have been caramelized onions but I don't like them) but at least put two chips underneath or next to it... To conclude, a sweet panna cotta with salted caramel, chocolate flakes and hazelnuts, nothing special, a nice generous portion. 3 starters 2 cut 1 mixed grill 3 french fries 2 desserts 3 waters 1 wine under €30 Total cost €240.00 for 4... a little expensive for what we got and especially for the quality.
