Nuovo Caffe' Greco In Siena

Unfortunately, there was only a small dollop of cream on the pistachio croissant instead of being filled with it. Plus it was dry. The cappuccino was quite good and the tomato mozzarella croissant too. Unfortunately it smelled a bit bad outside, which of course the restaurant can't do anything about. Still, it shortened our visit.

It was with some surprise that I read the negative reviews and the positive reviews about the popular place across the street. Here Illy top coffee, fresh rolls and plenty of room. You don't have to queue. With a little brain in your head, you take this for your coffee table. If you follow the crowd, join the queue on the other side.

It has nothing to envy of the nearby very popular bar! Cappuccino made to perfection, exquisite croissants and more than fair prices, a stone's throw from Piazza del Campo! 😊

There is a large menu hanging outside - the price for house wine is marked at 3.00, but the bill said 3.50. They want to explain it by saying that it is an old menu and on the new menu it is noted as 3.50. However, the "new" menu looked much older than the street menu. The waitress wasn't very attentive either - she looked at us twice and went back in. When I went in to ask if we would be served, they said it was self-service. I could have mentioned her. Wine and cafe were good.

Welcoming and friendly. The right place for a break in the centre

I came in without knowing the rating and ate pomodoro ravioli and carbonara, but it was so delicious that I looked up the Google rating and found that it was in the 3-point range, which is somewhat underrated. The price is 7 euros so it’s not burdensome. The portion size was smaller than other places, but it was just right for us! Grazie to the boss!

An excellent breakfast, already in the morning you can choose between a savory or sweet breakfast and I would say that it is perfect for those who are on holiday and don't want to miss anything

In the touristy historic centre of Siena, there are so many restaurant serving full meals at lunch time. Sometimes you just want something light, simple and quick, without having multiple courses and eating heavy dishes. I had a nice sandwich with prosciutto and salad, and a glass of fresh orange juice. In and out in less than half an hour. Just what I needed. Staff was friendly and helpful
