Nuova Cina In Mantova

Even today spaghetti sautéed with vegetables, calamari and prawns artfully cooked by chef Davide were too good

Three of us had dinner paying 25 euros each. A bottle of water 3 euros, a "Chinese" beer 5 euros. I really don't know what rating to give to a place that certainly didn't impress me with the food offered.

Good Chinese restaurant, the oldest in Mantua

Fixed appointment, we've been coming here for many years now. The food is good, the service is fast and kind. Prices average. Nice and clean environment.

Sono stato oggi a pranzo qui. La signora cinese che gestisce il ristorante mi ha confermato che questo è l'unico ristorante cinese a Mantova. L'ambiente è raffinato con arredi che richiamano la Cina imperiale. Il menù è disponibile rigorosamente solo in italiano (non è disponibile né la versione cinese né quella inglese) il che sta a indicare la provenienza della clientela. Non lo definirei un ristorante cinese che prepara cucina tradizionale, ma i piatti sono molto curati e riadattati per i palati italiani. Le porzioni non sono molto grandi però sono assai economiche, così si possono ordinare molti piatti e assaggiare molti cibi diversi. Il conto è più che onesto.

Perhaps the first Chinese restaurant born in Mantua!! Punctual and precise service even in take away. Excellent restaurant both for quality of food and service. Congratulations to all the staff!

Historic place on the outskirts of the centre, not many tables, somewhat confusing service, not generous portions and slightly characterless flavours, average prices.
