Novez In Ayas

We rested during a long walk. We ordered a platter that was spectacular. We had a wonderful time on the sofas in the sun.

A stunning place, both for its natural surroundings and its location: views of the Ayas Valley and the Matterhorn. Excellent food and attentive, punctual service.

We stopped for lunch, between one ski trip and another, and discovered this wonderful corner of paradise! Everything perfect!

Get the evening lift up from Champoluc and you'll find Novez a short walk up the mountain. It is a stunning location matched with fine cuisine beautifully presented and with excellent service. Silvie and Davide are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Homemade Ravioli and slow cooked meats but much more to try . The portions are smaller than some restarants but that is perfect as you certainly get quality over quantity. ( no piles of stogy polenta !) We are returning for lunch with the promise of belly pork and Ramen so a wonderful mix of Italian with interesting international cuisine.
