Delicious dishes. We tasted the refined Thursday sandwiches. Soft hemp bread, tasty. Meat that melts in your mouth, very fresh vegetables. We recommend it to those who want to eat dishes cooked with passion and tradition by Mrs Chiara but with a touch of particularity and novelty in an elegant but welcoming environment. Compliments!

Welcoming environment, professional staff who pay close attention to customer requests and delicious food. The dishes, simple but at the same time original and very particular, the combinations of different foods and the attention to detail are the basis of this excellent cuisine from times gone by yet very modern. It's not for everyone, only for true connoisseurs.

I had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant on Valentine's Day and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent food and a very comfortable environment, the whole place was set up with taste and attention to detail for the occasion. Excellent seafood starter and also the second courses... but the dessert was really super. Good choice of wines and appreciated the support received. We will be back soon. Thanks for everything

In reference to last night's dinner: Evening dedicated to tradition, the central element of the courses was pork. Excellent food quality and innovation in the dishes. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, impeccable service and a comfortable environment. I highly recommend this place.

What to say about this experience? Definitely worth doing again. The location is captivating and the service is impeccable. The strong point was certainly the food, the presentation of the courses was meticulous and the quality of the raw materials was excellent. The desserts are also good and the bitters they produce are surprising. We will be back.

Trattoria al Portello

11/05/2025: I miei genitori erano stati in questo posto scoperto un po' per caso un po' di tempo fa, me ne avevano parlato molto, molto bene e così oggi abbiamo deciso di andarci. La distanza non è poca, ma ne è valsa assolutamente la pena, non solo perché Castelcivita è un posto davvero delizioso, ma perché nella trattoria 'il portello' si mangia davvero benissimo. Abbiamo ordinato 3 antipasti 'il portello' che erano molto abbondanti e veramente eccezionali, i prodotti sono di altissima qualità. Raffaele, con il quale abbiamo scambiato qualche chiacchiera sembra davvero una persona squisita, seleziona i prodotti che serve con molta cura e tutto nel giro di pochissimi km. Anche i ravioli erano buonissimi e fatti in casa. La ragazza che ci ha servito al tavolo è stata super carina ed educata. Il posto è tranquillo e gode di una vista veramente bella. Rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo veramente ottimo! Ci ritorneremo sicuramente
