Al San Domenico di Taormina una pepata di cozze costa meno che qui. Chiedere 15 € per una pepata di cozze e 20€ per un un antipasto con un’alice, una fettina di salmone, una più minuscola di spada e un cucchiaio di polipo (industriale non fresco) sono veramente prezzi esagerati. Si salvano con la pizza, buona e prezzo nella media, ma peccano nell’attesa; arrivati alle 20:30 iniziamo a cenare alle 21:45, e quando siamo arrivati, c’erano solo tre tavoli occupati …. Mhaaaa … spero che rivediate le portate fuori pizza, migliorandole se volete mantenere quei prezzi alti.

Advised! The pizzas are excellent, even the gluten-free ones, the staff are helpful and friendly, the environment is clean and comfortable, and the service leaves a little to be desired.

Consigliato! Ottime le pizze anche quelle senza glutine, personale disponibile e gentile, ambiente pulito e confortevole lascia un po' a desiderare il servizio.

09/01/2025: Nice place, simple and cozy, great food and service, very nice and friendly employees. The only flaw: the space is too small to host two different events, such as a baptism and an eighteenth birthday, you risk having to listen to music without asking and therefore preventing you from being able to talk calmly. Other than that, it's a place I highly recommend if you want to eat well in the Gela area.
07/01/2025: Good food with a fixed menu, with abundant starters, two first courses, one second course, sweet drinks and coffee for 30 euros per person. The dining room staff were very courteous and attentive to all the needs of the diners. Magnificent location between hills and olive trees, ideal for receptions and for families with children

17/08/2024: We were here on a Saturday evening and got a table even though we didn't have a reservation. At first we had to wait a bit, but the waitress was very friendly and brought us the starter plate after a quarter of an hour. This was sufficient and very tasty (salami, spicy salami, Parma ham, pecorino, scrambled eggs with onions and spices, olives with rocket, grilled eggplant and zucchini)! It's best to share, because the main course came afterwards. The food was plentiful, spicy and delicious. She also brought a small bowl of red pepper, which had a pleasant spiciness and which you should definitely try if you like spiciness. All in all a good restaurant, I would come here again and again. Price/performance absolutely fine.
