Pur essendo nato ad Albenga non ero mai stato in questo locale che mi è stato fatto scoprire da amici in questi ultimi tempi, ieri per la seconda volta sono ritornato ed ho potuto constatare che il cibo somministrato è al TOP, come appetizer è stato ufferta una ciotolina con una crema di patate e aceto balsamico con lardo tenerissimo che si scioglieva in bocca, la qualità delle carni è eccellente ( Nino è una garanzia ) da non perdere assolutamente sono i dolci realizzati con rara mestria e bravura, sono vere e proprie opere d’arte! Locale consigliato ai buongustai.

Ottimo cibo servito con simpatia e professionalità. Carne tenerissima con delle salsine spettacolari. Cena terminata con dolcezza con un dessert eccezionale.

04/06/2025: It is now a fixed stop on our holidays in Liguria... dinner at the Candidate, in one of the alleys in the center of Albenga, from the first courses to the pizza to the fantastic farinata with onions and rosemary, truly Top. The owner is very kind and joking, what can I say... recommended!

04/05/2025: Ottima esperienza culinaria nel cuore di Loano, dove abbiamo gustato piatti tipici liguri in ambiente raccolto e molto accogliente. Cibo di ottima fattura, sia gli antipasti che i primi (Brandacujun, buridda, paccheri con calamari e friggitele e linguine con rossetti-piccolo pesce di mare dai riflessi rosacei). Pane e olio di accompagnamento sempre presenti, buona la carta dei vini e svariate tipologie di dolci. Servizio molto cordiale e attento, gestore molto simpatico che ci ha messo subito a nostro agio. Giro di Amari offerto a fine serata con cestino di caramelle, veramente graditi! Consigliata la prenotazione!Sicuramente torneremo.
04/05/2025: Excellent culinary experience in the heart of Loano, where we tasted typical Ligurian dishes in a cozy and very welcoming environment. Excellent food, both the starters and the first courses (Brandacujun, buridda, paccheri with calamari and friggitele and linguine with lipsticks - small sea fish with pink reflections). Bread and accompanying oil always present, good wine list and various types of desserts. Very friendly and attentive service, very friendly manager who immediately put us at ease. Round of Amari offered at the end of the evening with a basket of sweets, truly appreciated! Reservation recommended! We will definitely be back.
