Questo posto è una certezza, il loro menù è ottimo, soprattutto le proposte di pesce, ma questa volta abbiamo voluto provare il menù fisso a tema Halloween composto da: Flan di zucca con crema di taleggio e bacon croccante, Ravioli di burrata e basilico con pomodorini e ricotta salata, Scaloppine ai funghi porcini ( che ho fatto sostituire con polpo su crema di patate con olive taggiasche) e Panna cotta al caramello. Era tutto ottimo, sapori delicati, belle presentazioni. Servizio veloce. Con Acqua e caffè compresi si spendevano 35€ a persona. Consigliato.

I was amazed, I knew this place as an aperitif bar and instead I ate excellent fish for lunch on Sunday. So I also came back for dinner. Wide choice of first and second courses including meat. For me, sautéed octopus on potato cream with Taggiasca olives and cherry tomatoes (the cooking of the octopus was phenomenal and the balance of flavor between olives and potatoes was excellent!)
tuna & strawberry tataki (a beautiful dish, both spectacular and tasty, I appreciated the combination with the teriyaki sauce). The Master tagliolini with fish ragù and the potato, prawn and curry gnocchi are also excellent.
I also returned for the Halloween dinner with a menu consisting of: Pumpkin flan with taleggio cream and crispy bacon, Burrata and basil ravioli with cherry tomatoes and salted ricotta, Scaloppine with porcini mushrooms (which I replaced with octopus on potato cream with Taggiasca olives) and caramel panna cotta. Everything was excellent, delicate flavours, beautiful presentations. Fast service. With water and coffee included we spent €35 per person.
Fair price even for the à la carte menu given the quality and I remind you that we are in Santa Margherita. Nice location. Advised.

Situato a santa Margherita sto bar fa ottimi aperitivi con buonissimi stuzzichini annessi Molto gentili anche i ragazzi che ti servono e accettano i cagnolini

Absolutely fantastic food! We ate steak and trofie genovese with dessert later ( creme brulee and tiramisu). Wine and drinks where great as well. The name of the restaurant might suggest it's american food, but they are cooking purely italian.
