New Age Cafè In Roma

New Age Cafe is a coffee shop that transforms into a wonderful bar in the evenings. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it a favorite spot for us. We’ve been staying in this neighborhood for two years now, and the Cafe has become our go-to place for espresso in the mornings and Aperol spritzes in the evenings.

Good for (very) late drinks if you're staying in the area and want a buzzing atmosphere with rock music - I didn't try the food. I stayed in a hotel nearby whilst travelling alone and came here most nights after spending the day doing the usual touristy stuff. Seems to be a hangout for the local youth, who all seemed to appear all of a sudden at around midnight and hang on the terrace and the surrounding pavements. You'll easily spark up conversation with people in the outside seating area.

Nice restaurant located around the corner. I had a pizza with ham, Gorgonzola, and bacon. Very tasty. They always charge you right away. A bit unusual, but probably due to the experience.

I had a late lunch here on Sunday after shopping at Rinascente. Many of the surrounding shops were closed. I had fresh orange juice and asparagus cream risotto, which was rich and creamy and very delicious! The price was reasonable, I was able to take a leisurely break on the terrace, the food was served quickly, and the young staff were very friendly. I think it's a hidden gem that you can drop in to casually without feeling pretentious.
