Necessaire Cocktail Bistrot In Rimini

Every time we go to Rimini, we always try to stop by. Excellent wines with a truly unique selection, delicious tapas, and a great atmosphere. One of the things I love most is the team: they're all really know-it-all, and the service is attentive and very friendly. The last time we made a reservation, we arrived several hours late due to an unexpected event, but Enrico (despite the large crowd) still managed to find us a table.

A very well-kept little place at the entrance to the centre of Rimini, an intimate place with attention to every detail. The cocktails are excellent, as is the service. We haven't tried the food, even though the dishes we saw looked exquisite. We will definitely be back to try the menu.

Bad evening...and unmet expectations. After ordering the dishes, we asked for suggestions for pairings, but none arrived except random suggestions that turned out not to be relevant to the dishes. Meatballs were fairly mediocre and clams were completely tasteless. Worthy of note were the Zuppa Inglese and the raw ham, which, although very small in quantity, were excellent. The bill was a sore point: €1.50 per person as a service charge isn't justified unless they try to cover the table, but I tend to rule that out since there's no tablecloth, the cutlery is in a jar, and the napkin is paper...and they charged for the bread brought to mop up the plate (which was delicious). We probably didn't understand the spirit of the place, which is perhaps less suitable for dinner and more for an expensive aperitif among young people. Image and marketing go a long way, the place is always busy, but in my opinion the quality-price ratio is unbalanced. It's a shame.

I don't like going to bars, but in this case I have to admit that I had a really good time at Nécessaire. I was with two friends, in a quiet setting, on an evening where the place had a calm and welcoming atmosphere without too much commotion, despite the small space and the music selection that at times seemed intrusive. The drinks were exceptional! At the same prices as many cheap places serving cocktails that anyone could make at home if they knew how much 2+2 equals, here they serve refined and tasty preparations, rich in flavors and aromas that enhance the chosen ingredients and exactly reflect the description on the menu. We're not talking about casual or tacky concoctions just for show, but a genuine sensory journey that accompanies every sip. The passion behind these preparations is clearly visible and appreciated. Moving on to the food, I must also sincerely compliment the selection, which is once again tasty, but not overpowering or heavy. For example, the fried foods are crispy, not greasy or sickening. Praiseworthy. If you're looking for a relaxed and convivial place to unwind, chat, and enjoy excellent cocktails paired with good food, you're in luck! Congratulations!

I went with a group of friends last night. The place looks nice, tidy, and clean. The bar service is good, but the food could use some updating. Since we were a large group, we ordered practically everything on the menu. The bruschetta wasn't bad, although the raw prawns could perhaps be replaced with something more "raw." The sandwich was nice and fits well with the concept of the place. I personally wouldn't eat the veal again; I didn't find it satisfying. The marinated zucchini salad was good. I would go back, and although booking isn't the easiest thing, I recommend using their reservation website, which is excellent and doesn't require a phone call. They aren't as smart on the phone as they appear to be in the place.
