Simply special! A unique atmosphere immersed in nature in its simplicity. Typical and accurate cuisine. If I could give 6 stars I would! Super recommended!

4 of us had dinner, we ate as if it were Christmas dinner (endless) and we woke up full of good things. We were very satisfied because we tasted all the traditional Sardinian dishes. The staff very kind and helpful. Quiet place surrounded by nature, fortunately without mosquitoes. Unfortunately for tourists it is difficult to reach if you don't have a car.

Truly a beautiful place, where you can be immersed in greenery and absolute tranquility. Fixed menu with many and perhaps too many courses, but not exaggerated. Everything is really good, from the 10 starters, 2 first courses, the fruit, two second courses, the desserts, the sorbets and the myrtle. Waiters always on point and courteous who make you feel at home and give you excellent table service!

Veramente un bel posto, dove poter essere immersi nel verde e nella tranquillità assoluta. Menu fisso di tante e forse troppe portate, ma non esagerate. Tutto veramente buono, dai 10 antipasti, 2 primi, la frutta, due secondi, i dolci, i sorbetti e il mirto. Camerieri sempre sul pezzo e cortesi che ti fanno sentire a casa e ti danno un ottimo servizio al tavolo!

We went to this farmhouse for lunch, it was exceptional, the best suckling pig ever! Everything is really good and of high quality from starters to desserts! Wonderful staff! Absolutely coming back! Furthermore, for those with children there is a space with games and a farm to see the animals! Beautiful day!!

We had a fantastic unforgettable evening, with many delicious authentic dishes. This is not an a la carte restaurant, but all guests are served the same menu. The evening starts between 20 and 21, and ended for us approx. at midnight. Drinks were included. Forget about Alghero's busy tourist restaurants. This is the real thing. Reservation required. Highly recommendable.

Memorable experience!! On the advice of "le.bombarde beach" we came across this farmhouse, with a really well-kept educational farm, clean, tidy, with beautiful animals and a nice football pitch, the atmosphere was truly genuine. Not to mention the food, fixed menu for adults and children, tasting of 7 starters, 2 first courses and the second course par excellence... the suckling pig on the spit! All strictly home-made with real flavours... super recommended for those who want to savor authentic flavors in a less "commercial" and more intimate place

Siamo stati in questo agriturismo in due famiglie, 4 adulti e 4 ragazzi, per una cena di sabato sera. Il primo impatto è molto bello vista la presenza di numerosi animali da fattoria, su tutti pavoni, asini e pony, e un prato con le porte da calcetto che può essere utile per intrattenere i bambini/ragazzi nell’attesa di mangiare. Cibo si inizia con diversi antipasti tra cui ceci, carciofini, olive, salumi, uovo lavorato con maionese e formaggio , insalata russa, verdure grigliate, ecc. tutto fresco e buono. A seguire due primi: gnocchetti al sugo con salsiccia e ravioli con ricotta al pomodoro. Prodotti buoni e con possibilità di bis. Secondo con tradizionale maialino sardo molto buono e verdure crude (pomodori, sedano, cetriolo, ecc) Per chiudere: frutta fresca( melone classico e bianco, anguria) e dolci secchi sardi. Chiusura con caffè e mirto. Per chi non mangia questo menù c’è la possibilità di ordinare pasta al sugo con cotoletta e patatine. Nota: si mangia circondati da bellissimi gatti che si arrampicano sugli alberi e sul canniccio, passano tra i tavoli ma non disturbano assolutamente, anzi per chi ama i gatti è un plus! Prezzo 40,00€ Suggerimenti: servirebbe un contorno come le patate forno e come dolce la seada (ne siamo golosi)

Pausa Caffè

04/09/2024: My wife and I noticed this cafe on our travels during our 10-day stay in Alghero and we were keen to try it for lunch. I'm pretty sure they only serve breakfast and lunch and NOT dinner but, no doubt the business owner can correct me, if that's wrong. We called in at about 1.50pm on Sunday 1 September 2024 (they close at 3pm on Sundays, we believe). What a lovely surprise it was and just as good as we hoped it would be. We ordered Formaggio Arrosto to share as a starter. After that we chose Gnocchetti Alla Campidanese and a Bomba Salad for our main courses. These were served with 5 (yes, 5!) bread rolls. The portions were very generous and the quality of the starter, main courses and even the bread rolls was outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. We sat and enjoyed the very Italian atmosphere of male customers and female staff talking in that loud, expressive, Italian way. All accompanied by music from the tv. The ladies who served us were really friendly and professional and the cafe style is modern, clean and fun. All in all a memorable experience for us. We won't go back but only because we'll probably never be back in Alghero. But anyone reading this and thinking of lunch really should try Pausa Caffe. I can't vouch for the breakfasts, because we only had lunch but the food, service and atmosphere were all first class. Update of Wednesday 4 September 2024 - We enjoyed our first meal here so much that we chose the Pausa Caffe for our final meal in Alghero, before flying home, as we enjoyed eating here more than anywhere else we'd tried. On this second occasion we ordered two salads, a Caesar and a Salmon and both were superb, again served with bread rolls. We had to wait until 12.30pm, as they don't serve lunch until then so we just sat and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere again. Perfect! Lots of locals, obviously well-known to the staff made for a lovely friendly experience. A wonderful, final memory of Alghero. We would definitely recommend.
01/09/2024: Delicious (very big) English breakfast. Even for two there is enough to eat. Delicious coffee and chocolate/pistachio croissants. Very nice and helpful staff ☀️
