Incredibly hard working and focused team. Young people dedicated to producing great pizza. Quality ingredients, flawless technique, and a remarkably high value/low priced finished product. One could spend a lot more money at more famous pizzerias around the world, but not enjoy a pie so delicious as these.

13/07/2025: Top notch hotel—the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, the setting, the breakfast buffet are the highlights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend a stay here!
11/07/2025: If you are doing a trip to Lake Como and this hotel works within your budget, BOOK IT NOW. From research it seemed like Varenna was the best place to stay, and I can confirm it definitely was. As far as where to stay in Varenna itself, you can’t beat this location. Easy walk to all the main sights, restaurants, and transportation options. Beyond location, the hotel itself was perfection. Stunning views and photo ops, incredible staff, it was clean, AC worked great, and food options were all a big win (breakfast was a highlight every day - don’t skip the freshly squeezed orange justice) and it was overall just a beautiful hotel. If I ever have the opportunity to come back to Lake Como, staying at HRV is a non-negotiable.

Agriturismo Cascina Coldognetta

22/02/2025: Location calca, pulita e accogliente. Personale attento e cordiale. Prezzi in linea con l'offerta. Abbiamo preso un piatto unico (una sorta di degustazione di antipasti, primo e secondo, ottimo e adeguato come quantità) una gallinotta (gallina in umido, stupenda, con polenta) due dolci, acqua, vino (2 calici, ottimo) e un caffè e abbiamo speso 71 euro. Ci torneremo
03/12/2024: No, non mi riferisco alle vie della Valsassina. Ma alle montagne russe, pardon lecchesi, del menu degustazione. Antipasti top, sensini clamorosi, primi benino (lasagne alla zucca notevoli, ravioli insoddisfacenti), gallinotta con polenta buona, dolci e caffè deludenti. Location carina, prezzi onesti. Pur riconoscendo la genuinità del tutto, non mi ha meravigliato e non tornerei.
