Namaste In Como

This type of food wasn't my favorite. This was the first time I tried it. I was very satisfied.

It's a 25-minute walk to this restaurant by train. On the recommendation of friends, I went there last night, September 30, 2025, with my husband for dinner. The atmosphere is decorated with Indian motifs, welcoming, very clean, and homey. We had a mixed appetizer, curry, lemon and vegetable rice, water, and a beer. Everything was delicious, well-served, and plentiful. The price was a reasonable €66. I highly recommend this beautiful and delicious restaurant to anyone who enjoys Indian food.

Namaste Indian Restaurant Como - As soon as you enter, you're immediately immersed in the Indian world, with the scent of the natural spices they use to perfume the place. Immediately to the left is a spice mix. After that, we were greeted very kindly and cordially, making us feel immediately at ease. It's definitely a family-run restaurant, and you can tell right away that it exudes serenity and tranquility. As for the menu and the quality of the food, it's indescribable in its deliciousness. You have to come to truly understand. We tried the lamb meatballs (Shammy Kebab) as an appetizer, the chicken curry (Murgh Pakora) as a chicken curry, and the main courses: lamb curry with spices (Rogan Josh) and lamb and basmati rice (Lamb Biryani). As for the bill, it's average for what you order, but it reflects the quality of the food. The only advice I can give is to enhance the aesthetics of the place by adding a little extra touch to create a wow factor. Rating 9/10

Everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors were spicy, pleasant, and distinct. It's a shame the service was a bit slow. I agree that everything is cooked to order, but two and a half hours for a meal is too long. Perhaps not in line with our habits. However, the staff is competent and welcoming.

Boy am I happy I was able to make it to this restaurant! After a week in Italy and craving a different cuisine, I found Namaste and am very happy to have made the trip to get here. The owner was very friendly and engaging- gave us tips of what to see and where to while in Como. The food was EXCELLENT- best Chicken Tandoori I’ve had period. I highly recommend this place!

I was in Como returning from vacation, and I was craving Indian food. A Google search led me to this restaurant. Everything was delicious, flavorful yet delicate dishes, and perfectly proportioned portions. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly.

Auténtico restaurante indio, tan pronto como entramos sentimos que hicimos una buena elección ya que el ambiente era muy relajado y la gente disfrutaba de su comida. Si bien tuvimos que esperar un poco por nuestra comida, estuvo absolutamente bien ya que todo estaba cocinado fresco, muy diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados en el Reino Unido, donde muchos restaurantes cocinan y recalientan la comida en grandes cantidades. Los entrantes que comimos (pakora y kebab mixto) estaban muy buenos, aunque las estrellas del espectáculo fueron los platos principales (pollo tikka y cordero kadahi gosht), con un sabor realmente increíble y una carne cocinada a la perfección, especialmente el cordero que se deshizo. 2 de los mejores curries que hemos comido jamás, y hemos probado unos cuantos. Mención especial merece el naan de ajo, que estaba buenísimo. Si estás en Como y te gusta la comida india, tienes que probar aquí, no te arrepentirás.

Excelente comida auténtica, servicio rápido. Está en una calle lateral alejada de la zona turística. No te dejes llevar por el ambiente o la onda. Disfrute de la buena comida del norte de la India. Probamos palak paneer, paneer bhurji, daal y naan y quedamos muy contentos.
