Great restaurant! Every time I pass through Bergamo it is a must for me to stop at Namaste to delight in the excellent dishes that faithfully reflect Indian tradition. I highly recommend it also for the friendliness of the owner.

In compagnia di un'amica ho cenato in questo ristorante indiano. Per lei la prima esperienza, io ne ho provati molti, uno a Bergamo e diversi a Milano e devo dire che il cibo non era male. AMBIENTE : Locale non grandissimo, con tavoli in legno così come le sedie. Pulito, come anche il bagno, con alcune decorazioni alle pareti che ricordavano che il ristorante era indiano. SERVIZIO : quello che credo fosse il titolare ha preso la nostra ordinazione e ci ha servito le portate. Il locale, essendo mercoledì era abbastanza vuoto, quindi una persona era più che sufficiente. Non mi è molto piaciuto dover chiedere di cambiare il piatto tra antipasto e piatto principale, ma non volevo che le portate sapessero delle salse usate nell'antipasto. CIBO: mi è piaciuto tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato, dall'antipasto misto diviso in due, al nan (il pane indiano), al pollo. Mi aspettavo più formaggio nel piatto vegetariano con ceci e formaggio, ma comunque era buono. Nessun dolce. RAPPORTO QUALITA' PREZZO : assolutamente buono, anche se non ci è stato applicato lo sconto di The fork: non è un problema, ma la prenotazione, fatta dal sito prevedeva uno sconto che non è stato applicato. GIUDIZIO COMPLESSIVO : Un buon indiano in una location semplice ma pulita.

I had dinner at this Indian restaurant with a friend. For her the first experience, I have tried many, one in Bergamo and several in Milan and I must say that the food was not bad. ENVIRONMENT: Not a very large place, with wooden tables as well as chairs. Clean, as was the bathroom, with some decorations on the walls that reminded us that the restaurant was Indian. SERVICE: what I believe was the owner took our order and served us the dishes. The place, being Wednesday, was quite empty, so one person was more than enough. I didn't really like having to ask to change the dish between starter and main course, but I didn't want the dishes to taste like the sauces used in the starter. FOOD: I liked everything we ordered, from the mixed starter split in two, to the nan (Indian bread), to the chicken. I was expecting more cheese in the chickpea and cheese veggie dish, but it was still good. No desserts. VALUE FOR MONEY: absolutely good, even if the discount from The fork was not applied to us: it is not a problem, but the booking made on the site included a discount which was not applied. OVERALL OPINION: A good Indian in a simple but clean location.
