If you're in Pisa and dreaming of Indian cuisine, welcome to Namaste' India, a charming little restaurant in the center of Pisa. You'll be greeted with a beautiful smile, but the owner's kindness and friendliness will leave you thrilled. She'll carefully advise you on how to build your menu, and the dance begins with truly unique flavors. The highlight? The Mango Malai dessert, mmmm, so delicious!!!! But everything you eat here will satisfy your craving for Indian cuisine. Come and try it!!!

Must visit. Very friendly and kind owners. Super personable family run restaurant. Great flavorful food and even better service. Would 100% return for a meal anytime we are in the area. Best Indian food in Italy

Citra's restaurant is spectacular. We've been going there for years; the hospitality and friendliness are worth the trip. A simple restaurant with a family atmosphere. The food is delicious (we've tried almost everything on the menu except the fish), generous portions, and great prices. For two, we always order two appetizers, two chicken/vegetarian dishes, rice, and naan for €30... and we're always stuffed. Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

I've been a regular at this restaurant for years and always love returning. The place is a bit basic, but Citra (the owner) makes you feel right at home. I've tried almost everything on the menu and haven't found a thing I don't like yet. I don't know what real Indian food is like, but the food at this restaurant is truly delicious and excellent value (about €15-20 per person with an appetizer, main course, rice, and drinks). I absolutely recommend it; the waiters speak fluent Italian and English.

Namaste India Ristorante, Italia

23/09/2025: Everything great great food wonderful people
22/09/2025: One of the best Indian food experiences I’ve had in Europe! Visited with my parents and felt at home thanks to Sonam and her father’s warm hospitality. The food was truly authentic, and the momos were simply the best. A must-visit in Pisa!

Ristorante Indiano Tanduri

15/09/2025: Great food, kind service, great prices. Thank you
13/09/2025: An excellent ethnic restaurant in one of the liveliest squares in Pisa's city center. Specializing in meat, fish, and vegetable dishes cooked according to the ancient tandoor oven tradition, the restaurant, with both indoor and outdoor seating, offers a wide selection of incredibly tasty traditional Indian dishes: from appetizers (the mix of samosas, aloo bonda, paneer, sabzi, and chicken pakora is fantastic) to various basmati rice variations, from marinated chicken bites (the chicken tandoori and chicken tikka are excellent) to spicy lamb stew, served in characteristic decorated copper bowls (the mutton curry, or the even more "mean" mutton vindaloo, is fantastic), not to mention the pork, the many variations of nan (the traditional, thin Indian flatbread), and a wide selection of vegetarian options. As a beer enthusiast, I recommend pairing everything with the amazing Indian lager "Cobra": fresh and light, it pairs perfectly with the intense, smoky, and sometimes pungent flavors of the spiced meats! Sonia or her husband Sandeep will welcome you, show you to your table, and explain the menu: two exquisite, extremely polite, and competent professionals who will make you feel at ease, always offering a smile and a kind word! One last positive note, besides the perfect restrooms: the truly competitive prices, which, combined with the exceptionally high quality of the food, will encourage you to let go and indulge! In the last two years, we've been guests of "Tanduri" twice, and we can't wait to return!
