My wine In Calvizzano

05/08/2025: Very local and cozy dining experience, if you want to dine like a local this is the place. For tourists who do not speak Italian (like me), here is what I know about this place: - opens around 8pm; locals kept on arriving until 9.30-10pm - if the lights are on and music is playing, the place is open - this is a one man shop - the owner Enzo cooks and serves and takes orders - there isn’t a fixed menu - I was asked whether I want fried or grilled fish, meat, shellfish, pasta, etc - if you want quick food this is not the place for you; for context I arrived at 8.30pm, ordered at 8.40, got my pasta dish at 9.30, fish at 9.45 and salad at 10pm - bruschetta was delicious; I also had aglio olio (2 dishes), one grilled fish and a salad - total came to €68 and they take card payments

03/07/2025: I had an amazing dinner at La Pagliarella on Ischia island! The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever tasted, the seafood and fish were super fresh and full of flavor. We even got a digestivo on the house, which was such a nice surprise. Great food, warm service, and really good prices. Highly recommended! I had a great dinner at La Pagliarella on Ischia island!
