Absolutely highly recommended, I've wanted to go back for a long time! We took the tasting menu, a decision without even thinking more, already from the name "Cuccurucucu" we were intrigued by the desire to try it. A journey of incredible flavours, all vegetarian based. Professional staff, attentive to the smallest details. Very welcoming environment. We'll be back, and congratulations again, we had a really good time!

I came to the restaurant several times (the bookshop is also very nice). The cuisine is always a surprise, always delicious and suitable for everyone, even non-vegetarians. The drinks are delicious too. The environment is aesthetically beautiful and welcoming, also thanks to the always friendly staff. In particular Walter (the waiter with glasses) is always very kind and helpful, as well as very nice.

I'm referring only to the restaurant and not to the bookshop (which is still worth it). Since they changed management with a new chef it's a completely different thing. Refined menu, very interesting, non-trivial flavors and combinations, with gluten-free options too, just ask. It's a vegetarian restaurant, but as an omnivore I have to say that I really liked it, beyond my expectations. Don't miss the rosemary ice cream with extra virgin olive oil, truly superb. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, welcoming environment.

Premetto che sono vegetariana, quindi probabilmente di parte, ma mio marito è onnivoro e anche poco propenso ad assaggiare nuovi sapori, ma in questo ristorante dove la qualità si unisce al gusto/sapore, ha mangiato tutto con gusto. Io anche se vegetariana, con alcuni alimenti non ho feeling, tipo le carote e il rafano, ma la pasta fatta con questi due alimenti era spaziale. Siamo usciti sazi e con le papille gustative in estasi.

Attention to detail and extreme customer care denote a great passion for one's work. The food is great and the service is attentive; the staff, especially Walter, were always available for advice. Super recommended!

If only it were possible I would give much more than 5 stars because the experience was incredible. The location is very beautiful, the food excellent and the staff attentive, highly trained and extremely kind. Walter was a perfect host, explaining the dishes and wines offered to us with passion and competence. We will definitely be back.

20/02/2025: It is a very particular restaurant, in the heart of the Mantua countryside, just outside Sabbioneta. The restaurant is made up of several dining rooms, I couldn't define the furnishings, on the walls, on the floor and everywhere are antique pieces, paintings of all sizes, black and white photos, antique furniture, jewelery of all kinds and of all ages, records, lamps, in short, everything and more. Despite this "confusion", I really liked it, you feel part of that family who enthusiastically welcome you, serve you and there is no shortage of moments of chat with the owner or waiters. The food is delicious, and the cost is normal. Even in the bathroom there is a bit of everything, but it is clean and fragrant. Outside there is a large car park and a large outdoor area for the summer. I especially loved being greeted by the protagonist of this place, a big orange cat curled up on the entrance mat to welcome you. But there are other cats frolicking in the garden, or enjoying the sun.

09/10/2024: Ottimo caffè, salato e dolci. Le brioche favolose. Personale molto gentile e veloce. Se vi sedete fuori davanti alla finestra di laboratorio avete le possibilità di vedere le teglie piene di dolci pena sfornati, e una goduria unica.
21/08/2024: Nella pasticceria da Andrea si possono trovare dolci preparati con ottimi prodotti . Le paste (cannoli ,italiane ,elvezie ,frutta,ect)sono squisite ! Il caffè di buona qualità viene servito in bicchierini trasparenti molto belli Complimenti per la grande professionalità,la gentilezza e l’impegno profuso nel svolgere il loro lavoro a Andrea ,Alessandra ,Mattia,Giulia e alla collaboratrice Tania . Grazie di cuore Mario e Annarita
