10/03/2025: I have been coming to this family-run restaurant for many years now, mainly for the malloreddus with lamb, sausage and rosemary. But I had the opportunity to try other dishes, such as the mixed grill, the fillet, the Florentine steak, the fresh hand-cut and fried potatoes, the desserts, and it is all very good. The room downstairs is certainly the most beautiful, with a view of the forest and in the center a large grill with hood where the different cuts of meat are cooked. The service is courteous and, on busier evenings, it can slow down a bit, but nothing that cannot be forgiven by enjoying in the meantime a bruschetta with oil and cherry tomatoes (kindly offered as an aperitif) and some good house wine. Don't believe the reviews of rude tourists who believe they are at home and denigrate the work of those who go out of their way: if there are places with a soul in Sauze, the Old Inn is certainly one of them.
