Around Catania on the advice of a local uncle, I ate an almond granita and handcrafted croissants and they were exceptional compliments, the service was also excellent 👏

Trattoria Gulisano

19/06/2025: A typical Italian trattoria. Truly delicious, simple dishes. The meat and pasta were as delicious as Grandma's. The portions are very generous, and all for a reasonable price.
17/06/2025: We had lunch here on our way to Palermo (from Catania). It is little restaurant right outside the highway. The food was excellent - grilled meat with salada and a pasta with ragu. They were fast, nice and it was really cheap (12 euros per person).
