We went for lunch... it's located in Ceppo Morelli on the road to Macugnaga. We booked before taking a stroll around town. For lunch, we ordered an appetizer for two and a first course. Everything was good, and the staff was friendly.

We stayed for two nights and weren't very happy with the attic room. The bathroom was dated, with a small shower tray and curtain. The staff was kind and friendly.

Everything was great. We had amazing pizza one night and another super nice dinner the next night. Breakfast was typical Italian, sweets and pies and a nice coffee made by the owner. Staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean and super affordable. They even send my AirPods which I left to the Netherlands via post. We had the best time. Thanks for having us Mondo D’Oro

08/12/2025: An unpretentious place, the food is simple but well-cooked considering the price. There's a choice of two first courses and two second courses at lunchtime, and I think they also offer pizza in the evening.
07/12/2025: A simple and welcoming place, located near the sanctuary; parking is also available across the street. It offers a bar and restaurant with daily and à la carte menus. We ordered polenta with cheese, polenta with sausage, a platter of cured meats from Vigezzo, water, and two quarts of red wine for €42 (we were offered two delicious artisanal liqueurs). The food is excellent, simple and authentic. In the evenings, they also serve wood-fired pizza. Highly recommended for anyone passing through.

18/02/2025: Wunderbares Essen, nette Bedienung, intelligenter Pizzaiolo. Das Ambiente ist leider sehr kühl... doch für das Essen kommen wir wieder
27/01/2025: Mi sono recato in questo ristorante durante la settimana. Locale rustico ma elegante, molto tranquillo. Ci hanno servito dei crostini di pane molto buoni e del pane anche questo ottimo. Come antipasto un Vitello tonnato davvero buono. Per quanto riguarda i primi: Ravioli del plin con crema di zucca, tartufo e speck ecc. molto delicato come piatto, il tartufo però andava un po’ a sovrastare il sapore dei ravioli, ma il tutto era buono. Mezze maniche cacio patate e cozze, invece non l’ho trovato una buona accoppiata di ingredienti, nel senso, che era una ottima cacio e pepe (nel menu tra l’altro non veniva indicato il pepe) che a me piace molto, il gusto delle cozze era praticamente nullo. Se devo considerarla una cacio e pepe era molto buona, ma considerando cacio patate e cozze allora nulla di che. I dolci ottimi sia nel gusto che nella presentazione. Buono anche il vino Conto in linea con quello che abbiamo mangiato. Da provare.
