13/08/2025: A quiet and welcoming place to enjoy excellent food. The dishes are simple but carefully prepared, offering excellent value. The staff is friendly and helpful.

09/08/2025: After a few years, we returned to this restaurant. In an era where change is rapid and not always for the better, it's refreshing to find the taste, quality, and hospitality intact. Even though we were way behind on our reservation, we were greeted warmly (which is not a given in Florence) and escorted to a table in the small courtyard at the back. Superb steak, excellent potatoes, and fresh grilled vegetables, not to mention the truly authentic cold cuts and cheese platter. The staff were helpful, and the owner was always friendly and attentive. We'll be back, but this time soon.
